GATE AGENT REPORTED THAT F/A ADVISED OF SMOKE/ELECTRICAL BURNT ODOR IN THE FLIGHT DECK, DEBRIEFED FLIGHT ATTENDANTS AND ALL CONFIRMED THEY WITNESSED A DARK SMOKE EMANATING FROM FLIGHT DECK. SMOKE SMELLED LIKE AN ELECTRICAL BURNING ODOR. APU WAS RUNNING AND PACKS WERE ON WITH NO OUTSIDE AIR COND. HOSE ATTACHED. ALL THREE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS WERE ADAMANT THAT IT WAS NOT PACK CONDENSATION BUT ACTUAL SMOKE RISING FROM THE FLT DECK FLOOR AREA. UNABLE TO DUPLICATE CONDITION. PERFORMED FIM 21-00 TASK 830, FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF SMOKE OR ODOR COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE FAULT , PERFORMED INSPECTION OF THE OVERBOARD EXHAUST VALVE AND FOUND TO BE IN THE NORMAL POSITION INDICATING NO SMOKE WAS PRESENT NOR CAME FROM THE E&E INTO THE CABIN SDR REPORT UPDATED PER GMM 04-20-16 NO FURTHER ACTION REQUIRED

PERFORMED LEAK CHK WITH APU BLEED, LEAK CHKD GOOD. BIT ASCU, NO FAULTS NOTED. PERFRMD IDLE ENG RUN ON BOTH ENGS TO COMPARE EACH OTHER IAW AMM 71-00-00-795-003-N00.
