DURING FLIGHT, THE AIRCRAFT YAWED LEFT AND THE ENGINE CHIP DETECTOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT IN A FIELD. MECHANIC INSPECTED THE ENGINE CHIP DETECTORS AND FOUND EXCESSIVE METAL ON THE DETECTORS. THE ENGINE WAS REPLACED.
