A 1 INCH CRACK WAS LOCATED AT BS 4010 AFT OF FORWARD LOWER ENGINE COWLING LATCH. CRACK ORIGINATED AT THE 90 DEGREE BEND OF THE BASE TO THE EDGE OF THE MATERIAL.

DURING TROUBLESHOOTING FOR THE DOOR WARNING CAUTION LIGHT, IT WAS NOTED THAT THE DOOR LATCH ITSELF SHOWED SIGNS THAT IT WAS NOT STRAINGHT AGAINST THE PILLAR CHANNEL. AFTER REMOVING THE DOOR SEAL IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE A/F SLIDING DOOR POST WAS BENT TO ONE SIDE AND THAT SHEET METAL BEHIND THE DOOR LATCH EAS CRACKED. AFTER REMOVAL A/F SLIDING DOOR POST OUTER SHEET METAL COVER, IT WAS NOTED THAT THE A/F PILLAR IS ALSO CRACKED BEHIND THE LATCH. A REPAIR SCHEME HAS BEEN REQUESTED FROM AGUSTA FOR A/F PILLAR AND A/F SLIDING DOOR POST OUTER SHEET METAL COVER IS ON ORDER. PLEASE NOTE THIS AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN OOS SINCE 9-7-16.

ACFT HAD TO MAKE AN UNSCHEDULED LANDING DUE TO A ENGINE RGB CHIP LIGHT THAT ILLUMINATED DURING FLIGHT, THE MECHANIC CLEANED OIL OUT OF THE RGB CHIP DETECTOR CONNECTOR PLUG THE OPS CHECK WAS GOOD AND THERE HAS BEEN NO FURTHER CHIP LIGHTS SINCE THE CONNECTOR PLUG WAS CLEANED.

ON THE FIRST FLIGHT AFTER A TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR, DURING TAKEOFF FROM A SCENCE CALL THE PILOT NOTICED A LOSS IN OIL PRESSURE INDICATION, THE PILOT IMMEDIATLY PERFORMED A NORMAL LANDING AT THE ORIGIN OF THE FLIGHT WITH OUT INCIDENT. THE MX WAS DISPATCHED AND AFTER INSPECTING THE ACFT, HE FOUND MOISTURE IN THE OIL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER CONNECTOR PLUG, THE MOISTURE WAS REMOVED AND THE ACFT WAS RUN FOR 10 MINUTES WITHOUT ANY FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
