E1 DOESN'T MAKE TORQUE ON GROUND OR IN FLIGHT. REMOVED & REPLACED EGT COMPENSATOR AND PREFORMED ENGINE RIGGING CHECK PER SA227 MM CH 71-00-30.
PILOT REPORTED THAT HE HAD CYCLE THE GEAR HANDLE MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE GEAR WOULD ACTUATE
CREW REPORTED LANDING GEAR WOULD NOT EXTEND AND SWITCHED ESS BUS TRANSFER AND STILL WOULDN'T WORK, GEAR RETRACTED AFTER ATTEMPTING QUITE A FEW TIMES. MX INSPECTED THE LANDING GEAR AND MADE SURE ALL HANDLES WERE STOWED, LUBED GEAR COMPLETED RETRACT CHECKS. LANDING GEAR OPS CHECKED GOOD.
HYDRAULIC LEAK IN NOSE GEAR IN FLIGHT. MX REMOVED AND REPLACED NLG STEERING LINE WITH A NEW NLG STEERING LINE. MX DID GROUND RUNS AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
PILOT REPORTED PARTIAL POWER LOSS IN FLIGHT, PILOT ACTIVATED CONTINUOUS IGNITION WHICH RESTORED POWER. AUTO IGNITION DID NOT OPERATE PROPERLY. MX PERFORMED NTS GROUND CHECK IAW TPE331 MM CHAPTER 72-00-00 TROUBLE-SHOT SYSTEM AUTO IGNITION SWITCH NOT EXTINGUISHING DUE TO BROKEN WIRE, REAPPLIED WIRE POST. OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD AND NTS CHECK GOOD.
FLIGHT CREW REPORTED LG WOULD NOT RETRACT AFTER TAKEOFF. FOUND DEFECTIVE UPLOCK SWITCH & REPLACED.
ON APPROACH FOR LANDING, THE RT ENGINE FLAMED OUT. AFTER INSP, A FUEL LINE PN 894568-1 BETWEEN THE FCU AND THE FUEL FLOW TRANSDUCER WAS FOUND CRACKED AT THE ATTACHMENT TO THE FUEL CONTROL. THIS IS THE SECOND FAILURE OF THIS LINE IN OUR FLEET. THE FUEL FLOW TRANSDUCER IS SUPPORTED ONLY BY THE FUEL LINES IN AND OUT AND IT IS BELIEVED THIS LEADS TO FATIGUE OF THE LINE. A SUPPORT BRACKET FOR THE TRANSDUCER WOULD BE BENEFICIAL.
AIRCRAFT WAS ON APPROACH WHEN RIGHT ENGINE OIL LIGHT CAME ON. PILOT CHECKED PRESSURE AND FOUND OIL PSI WAS LOW AND SHUT ENGINE DOWN WITH STOP AND FEATHER. LANDED WITH NO FURTHER PROBLEM. DRIVE GEAR ON THE TURBINE SCAVENGE PUMP SEARED APPROX 3 TEETH, CAUSING TURBINE BEARING TO CAVITY AND TO FILL WITH OIL AND LEAK INTO EXHAUST. THE TEETH ON THE SHAFT DRIVING PUMP WAS ALSO DAMAGED AND REQUIRED REPLACEMENT. SCAVENGE PUMP AND DRIVE SHAFT WAS REPLACED. (M)
