Maintenance disclosures
PRIOR TO DESCENT, PILOT REPORTED A GENERATOR 1 FAIL LIGHT ILLUMINATED. PERFORMED GENERATOR 1 FAIL EMERGENCY PROCEDURE. THE NR 1 GENERATOR WOULD NOT RESET. DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND COMPLETED THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION AND LANDED.
AFTER TOUCHING DOWN, REVERSE WAS SELECTED. THE PROPELLER INITIALLY WENT INTO REVERSE NORMALLY, AFTER A FEW SECONDS THE PROPELLER THEN WENT TO FLAT PITCH, RESULTING IN LOSS OF REVERSE EFFECTIVENESS.
LANDING GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND. MANUALLY EXTENDED GEAR WITHOUT INCIDENT.
UPON APPROACH TO LANDING, THE ACFT BEGAN PITCHING UP WITH TRIM RUNAWAY CONDITION. AT THE SAME MOMENT THE TRIM BEGAN THE RUNAWAY CONDITION AN ELECTRONIC BUZZING NOISE WAS HEARD THROUGH THE PILOT'S HEADSET AND CONTINUED UNTIL THE STAB TRIM CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS PULLED TO DEACTIVATE THE STAB TRIM. ACFT WAS RE-TRIMMED USING THE ALT STAB TRIM AND THE MISSION WAS ABORTED AND ACFT RETURNED TO BASE. MX TROUBLESHOT THE SYS WITH THE ASSISTANCE FROM THE MFR AND IT WAS DETERMINED A FAILURE OF THE TRIM RELAY K22. RELAY WAS REPLACED WITH NO FURTHER FAULTS.
AIR CYCLE MACHINE IS MAKING UNUSUAL NOISES.
NR 2 GENERATOR CAWS LIGHT ILLUMINATED DUE TO FAILURE OF NR 2 GENERATOR DRIVE SHAFT.
RT AOA PROBE DOES NOT HEAT.
RUDDER TRIM FLUCUATES IN FLIGHT.
WING DE-ICE CAWS LIGHT ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT.
FOD FOUND IN FUEL OUTLET FILTER. REMOVED AND REPLACED FUEL PUMP AND FUEL CONTROL.
ON 100 HOUR INSPECTION THE ROD END BEARING ON THE NOSE GEAR STEERING ORING WAS FOUND TO BE MIGRATING OUT OF THE ROD END ASSEMBLY. IF ROD END WAS NOT REPLACED AND THE BEARING MIGRATED ALL THE WAY OUT OF THE ROD END THEN STEERING CONTROL WOULD BE LOST. THIS COULD BE POSSIBLY PREVENTED BY A SB FROM MFG, IMPLEMENTING A LARGE AREA WASHER ON THE BOTTOM OF THE ROD END OR AN EQUIVALENT FIX, THIS WOULD PREVENT THE BEARING FROM MIGRATING ALL THE WAY OUT OF THE ORING ROD END AND LOSING CONTROL OF NOSE WHEEL STEERING. THIS DISCREPANCY IS A RESULT OF NORMAL OPERATIONS, NOT A RESULT OF TOWING OR UNUSUAL OPERATIONS.

ECS SYSTEM WOULD NOT COOL BELOW AMBIENT TEMPERATURE NO MATTER WHAT POSITION THE CONTROL WAS IN, AUTO OR MANUAL. AFTER TROUBLESHOOTING SYSTEM AND TALKING TO TECH REPS, CHANGED COOLING TURBINE AND HEAT EXCHANGER. OPERATIONAL AND FUNCTIONAL CHECKED OK.
ECS SYSTEM BLOWS WARM AIR IN EITHER MANUAL OR AUTO MODES. REMOVED AND REPLACED REFRIGERATION PACK AND OPS CHECK OK.
FOUND OIL COOLER VANE CRACK WITH 3 POPPED RIVETS. REMOVED AND REPLACED OIL COOLER VANE IAW MANUFACTURER''''S SB 71-001 KIT. NO RECOMMENDATIONS TO PREVENT RECURRENCE SINCE SB 71-001 HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN C/W. (X)
