AIRFRAME VIBRATION. *S/D* LEFT ELEVATOR TAB INBOARD HINGE FITTING BEARING AND HARDWARE HAVE EXCESSIVE WEAR. REMOVED TAB, REPLACED MOST INBOARD HINGE BUSHINGS AND BOLT.
VIBRATION AND HUM ADJACENT TO ROW 9. THE REPORTED VIBRATION THAT WAS HEARD FROM ROW 9 (LEFT) WAS A RESULT OF DETERIORATED SEALANT ON THE UPPER WING TO BODY FAIRING AT THAT SAME LOCATION. THE FAIRING WAS RESEALED AT THE IMC AND THE AIRCRAFT RELEASED.
EMERGENCY EXIT FLOOR LIGHT STRIP AT ROW 12 IS INOP. *S/D* REPLACED TWO EEL STRIPS AND A SECTION OF TRACK. LIGHTS OPS CHECK GOOD.
OIL BURNING ODOR NOTICED ON CLIMB-OUT IN COCKPIT AND IN CABIN. THREE SELF-LOCKING SHANK NUTS HAD DAMAGED THREADS GIVING FALSE READING WHEN THE BOLTS WERE TORQUED. THIS CAUSED AN IMPROPER SEAL BETWEEN THE NR 3 BEARING AIR/OIL SEAL AND THE FAN FRAME. AIR VAPORS MIXED WITH THE PRIMARY AIR FLOW AND EXITING AT THE 5TH STAGE BLEED VALVE ALLOWING THE SMELL TO PROGRESS INTO THE CABIN. ENGINE WAS REPLACED.
AIR CONDITIONING ODOR IN ALL CABINS DURING CLIMB ON BOTH PACKS. ACCOMPLISHED CHRONIC REVIEW OF BOTH PACKS. COALESCER BAGS WERE REPLACED. ODOR WENT AWAY. REPLACED AIR CYCLE MACHINE FOR PRECAUTION. OPS CHECK GOOD.
