BATTERY ACCESS DOOR IN LT SIDE OF TAIL BOOM. DESCRIPTION NR 1: INTERNAL DOUBLER FOR BATTERY DOOR CUT OUT IS CRACKED AT UPPER FORWARD AND UPPER AFT CORNERS NEAR DOOR HINGE, NR 2: LOWER ANGLE DOUBLER HAS 100 % THICKNESS CHAFE DAMAGE FROM BATTERY DOOR LOWER CAMLOCK FASTENERS, NR 3; LOWER CAMLOCK RECEPTCALS HAVE BEEN MODFIED TO TRY TO MAKE THEM FIT INTO LOWER.
DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE DECK (PN: 350A21-1239.21) IN THE FORM OF A CHAFE. THE DAMAGE AREA WAS DISCOVERED TO BE JUST AFT OF THE SCUPPER DRAIN HOLE AND IS APPROXIMATELY 0.50 LONG, 0.375 WIDE, AND 0.015 DEEP AT THE DEEPEST POINT. THE REMAINDER OF THE CHAFE EXTENDS INBOARD AND OUTBOARD, BUT IS MEASURED TO BE APPROXIMATELY 0.003 DEEP.
CORROSION WAS DISCOVERED ON THE RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE CABIN FLOOR EDGE SECTION.
MAST BEARING INNER RACE HAS BECOME DEBONDED FROM THE MAIN ROTOR SHAFT.
