AIRCRAFT HAS BURNT ELECTRICAL SMELL THROUGHOUT COCKPIT AND CABIN. AIRCRAFT WAS AT 3500 FT MSL STARTED DECENT, SMELL GOT STRONGER. DECIDED TO LAND IN FIELD, ON THE WAY DOWN LOST STANDBY ATTITUDE INDICATOR, #3 VHF RADIO, HSI INDICATIONS ON PFD AND SYNTHETIC VISION ON PFD. UPON SHUT DOWN DISCOVERED STANDBY ATTITUDE INDICATOR CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED. MAGNETOMETER WAS DETERMINED TO BE THE FAULT, WHICH CAUSED THE FAILURE OF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER WHICH CAUSED THE SMELL.
MAIN ROTOR BLADE DAMAGE. DURING CLIMB EXPERIENCED LOUD THUD PERFORMED PER-CAUTIONARY TO BASE LANDING FOUND HOLE THROUGH BLUE MAIN ROTOR BLADE AND LEADING EDGE DAMAGE. NO FLIGHT CONTROL DEFICIENCIES NOTED. HOLE AND DAMAGE IS LOCATED AT APROX 165 MM FROM ROOT OF BLADE.
FOUND A CRACKED LT TRANSMISSION FITTING, FOUND DURING AN EDDY CURRENT INSPECTION IAW EO 49-5300-EO-2335.
FOUND 2 EACH CRACKS AT STA 2049.5, BL 480 LT AND BL 480 RT. RETAINER AND 2 EACH CRACKS AT FASTENER STA 2049.5 LEFT/RIGHT WL 1150.0.
