LH ROLL SPOILER UP CABLE WORN AND FRAYED. REQUIRED REPLACEMENT.
CREW REPORTED THAT WHILE IN CRUISE FLIGHT THE LT AND RT HYDRAULIC LOW PRESSURE LIGHTS HAD ILLUMINATED ALONG WITH THE SPOILER HOLD, AILERON BOOST, AND AUXILLARY HYDRAULIC PUMP LIGHTS. THE HYDRAULIC FLUID VOLUME REMAINED STEADY. CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND DIVERTED TO KAPA. THE LANDING GEAR WAS MANUALLY EXTENDED, AND THE SPEED BRAKES, SPOILERS, THRUST REVERSERS, AND STEERING WERE INOPERATIVE WHEN AIRCRAFT LANDED IN KAPA. MAINTENANCE RAN THE AIRCRAFT SEVERAL TIMES AND ALL SYSTEMS CHECKED NORMALLY. A LEAK WAS DISCOVERED AT A B-NUT FOR THE OUTBOARD LEFT ROLL SPOILER. B-NUT WAS TIGHTENED AND LEAK CHECK WAS GOOD. NO FURTHER DISCREPANCIES WERE NOTED. AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE, TWO UNLOADING VALVES, PART NUMBE
CREW REPORTED THAT WHILE AT V2 RIGHT FUEL COMPUTER ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE NR 2 ENGINE ROLLED BACK TO 70 PERCENT AND STARTED SURGING. THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED RIGHT AT APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET IN THE AIR. CORRECTIVE ACTION WAS TAKEN TO MAINTAIN CENTERLINE AND CLIMB. EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND AIRCRAFT LANDED BACK AT KJAC WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE RIGHT FUEL CONTROL UNIT, AND TIGHTENED LOOSE T2 CANNON PLUG AND P2 LINE B-NUT AT THE PT2 SENSOR. OPERATIONAL AND LEAK CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
ENGINE OIL PRESSURE DROPPED. THE PILOTS SHUT DOWN LT ENGINE AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFLEY AT SAV. MAINTENANCE FOUND O-RING ON OIL FILLER TUBE BROKEN. REPLACED O-RING AND GROUND RUNS WERE FOUND TO BE OK.
DURING DESCENT, THE AIRCRAFT SHOOK FOLLOWED BY A NR 2 ENGINE CHIP DETECTOR LIGHT ILLUMINATION. ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN AND AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING WAS MADE. UPON VISUAL EXAMINATION, THERE WERE NO EXTERNAL OIL LEAKS, THE OIL RESERVOIR WAS FOUND FULL AND THE FAN WAS NOT ABLE TO BE TURNED BY HAND. THERE WAS NO VISIBLE SIGNS OF DAMAGE TO THE FAN.
