Part: STRINGER — CRACKED (ZONE 100) · airframe 8,015 hrs
DURING A YEARLY FLOAT REMOVAL, FOUND A CRACK IN BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT TAIL STRINGERS. THESE CRACKS WERE AT BOTH REAR ATTACH POINTS FOR THE HORIZONTAL STABILIZER.
Part: BELLCRANK — DAMAGED (NLG STEERING)
DURING THE ANNUAL INSPECTION, FOUND BELLCRANKS TO HAVE VERY ELONGATED HOLES WHERE THE STEEL STEERING SPRINGS HOOK ON TO THE BELLCRANKS. THEY WERE CLOSE TO FAILURE. IT IS A TOUGH PLACE TO INSPECT WITH A MIRROR, BUT A BOROSCOPE MADE IT EASIER.

ORDERED NEW SEAT BACK CAM FROM FACTORY. UNIT RECEIVED HAD CRACK ON ONE-HALF OF ASSY NEXT TO ATTACH RIVET. RETURNED TO FACTORY.
