SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT AND CABIN IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKEOFF.
LEFT & RIGHT FIRE LIGHTS AND BAGGAGE SMOKE LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON FINAL. NO OTHER INDICATIONS OF FIRE OR SMOKE. LANDED. SHUTDOWN. FIRE DEPT INSPECTED W/ THERMAL CAMERA. DID NOT FIND ANY ABNORMAL HEAT SPOTS.
SMOKE/HAZE IN COCKPIT AND CABIN.
DURING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION VISIT, THE PRIMARY FORWARD RUDDER CABLE WAS FOUND FRAYED MORE THAN 50 PERCENT THROUGH. NO STRUCTURE DAMAGE OR CHAFING INDICATION WAS FOUND AND THE ROUTING WAS CORRECT. THE CABLE DAMAGE WAS IN AN AREA THAT WAS OPEN AND CLEAR OF ALL STRUCTURE AND COMPONENTS. THE CABLE HAS BEEN SENT TO MFG FOR EVALUATION.
DURING APPROACH, CREW POSITIONED THE MLG HANDLE TO THE DOWN POSITION. ONCE THE GEAR HANDLE HAD BEEN LOWERED THERE WAS NO LIGHT INDICATING THE RT GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED. THE CREW THEN FOLLOWED THE PROCEDURES IN THE CHECKLIST AND USE THE EMERGENCY GEAR BLOW DOWN BOTTLE. THERE STILL WAS NO INDICATION FOR THE RT MLG BEING DOWN AND LOCKED. THE ACFT PROCEEDED TO LAND, ONCE ON THE GROUND SAFELY, THE RT MLG LIGHT ILLUMINATED BRIEFLY. AFTER THE ACFT WAS TROUBLESHOT BY MFG, IT WAS DETERMINED THE THE INDICATOR LAMPS CM 6839 WERE INOPERATIVE AND WERE REPLACED BY MFG.
