RETURNED TO DEPARTURE AIRFIELD. REMOVED AND REPLACED L/G DOOR SELECTOR VALVE (41GA) IAW AMM 32-31-34, OPS CHECK OK, LEAK CHECK OK.

PFR SHOWS HISTORY OF NR 2 ENG BLEED PRESSURE REG VALVE/SOLENOID SENSE LINE FAULT. REMOVED & REPLACED NR 2 ENG BLEED VALVE (4001 HA2) IAW MM 36-1152 DUE TO SUSPECT FLUCTUATING BLEED PRESSURE OPS & LEAK CHECK OK. PERFORMED CABIN PRESSURE CHECK IAW AMM 05-53-00. OPS CHECK OK.
DURING EMERGENCY LIGHT TEST, FAULT INDICATION OF LEFT EPSU UNIT. FOUND WIRE HARNESS D9299200900200 AT SEAT 3C CHAFED CAUSING FAULT DURING TEST OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM IAW 33-51-00-710-001. ITEM PLACED ON MEL UNTIL PART CAN BE REPLACED. REMOVED AND REPLACED HARNESS & LT EPSU OVERWING EXIT.

THE CONDITION REPEATED NEXT FLIGHT. REMOVED FOD FROM BULK CARGO DOOR, INSPECTED R2 DOOR AREA. PERFORMED PRESSURIZATION CHECK ON GROUND. OPS CHECK GOOD IAW MM 21-33-00. NO DEFECT NOTED.

DEPARTING PBI, FLIGHT 74, PBI TO JFK, GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT WITH GEAR LEVER IN UP POSITION. BOTH GREEN DOWNLOCK AND RED UPLOCK LIGHTS WERE OBSERVED ON LANDING GEAR PANEL. NO ECAM WAS OBSERVED. AFTER RECYCLE OF GEAR HANDLE, NORMAL GEAR RETRACTION AND SYSTEM STATUS NORMAL WAS OBSERVED. PERFORMED DETAIL VISUAL INSPECTION OF NOSE LANDING GEAR AS PER AMM 32-21-00. FOUND PROX SENSOR OUT OF ADJUSTMENT. REPLACED TARGET BUSHED LEVER, CLEVIS AND LINK ASSY AND ATTACHING HARDWARE AS PER AMM 32-21-27. PERFORMED TSM TASK 32-21-00-810-815, NO FAULT FOUND, REPLACED PROX SENSOR 25GA AS PER AMM 32-31-73, OPS CHECK OK.
AFTER TAKEOFF LANDING GEAR FAILED TO RETRACT, L/G SHOCK ABSORBER FAULT, AIR RETURN TO JFK, OVERWEIGHT LANDING APPROX 160,000 LBS AT 3-400 FPM. ON INSPECTION FOUND FOD (UNSERVICEABLE TAXI LAMP) IN AREA OF SCISSORS LINK CAUSING TARGET FOR EXTENSION TO FAIL, REMOVED FOD, PERFORMED EXTENSION AND RETRACTION TEST PER AMM TASK 32-31-00-501, NLG FAILED TO RETRACT, INSPECTED NOSE STRUT ASSY, FOUND PROX SENSORS 24GA AND 25GA OUT OF ADJUSTMENT. ADJUSTED, OPS CHECK PROX SENSORS. PERFORMED RETRACTION TEST, OPS CHECK OK.
At JFK arrival, Flt 67, Ground damage from jetway impact, found a (6" x 4") tear between Frames 23/24 and Stringers 22/23.Fuselage skin repair at Frame 24, between Stringers 21 and LHS 24 as per JetBlue Engineering Order 5301242. Repair consisted in: cutting out the damaged area, installing a repair doubler (clad-2024T3) thickness=0.09". The original alu rivets (diameter 4mm) have been replaced by HL11VF6, The original Hi lock fasteneres (diameters 4.8mm) have been replaced by HL411VF6. The other fasteners have been installed according to the E.O 5301242 drawing and Airbus repair design approval sheet. No cracks, deformations have been detected on the frame 24 and holes.
FLT 25 - JFK-TPA - WHILE CLIMBING THROUGH FL240, FLIGHT CREW HEARD A LOUD POP AND SAW SMOKE TO THE RIGHT REAR OF THE F/O SEAT. AFTER CLOSE CHECK OF THE COCKPIT, BELIEVE THE SOURCE WAS THE POWER CHORD THAT PROVIDES POWER TO PILOT LAPTOP COMPUTER. SMOKE WAS MINOR AND CLEARED RAPIDLY. C/B DID NOT POP. SMOKE GOGGLES/OXYGEN MASKS WERE USED AS PER PROCEDURES. AS PER AMM 5-56, INSPECTED AREA BEIND F/O''S SEAT FOR SOURCE OF NOISE AND SMOKE, FOUND DAMAGE AND BURN MARKS ON CORD FOR LAPTOP POWER SOURCE. INSPECTED ELECTRICAL PLUG BEHIND FLIGHT OFFICERS SEAT, CHECKED OK. AIRCRAFT OK FOR CONTINUED SERVICE. (M)
