CRACK DISCOVERED ON POST FLIGHT. LOCATED ON MR HUB CAP FLANGE.
AFTER REMOVAL OF MAIN GEAR BOX FOR OTHER MAINTENANCE. FOUND THE LEFT XY FITTING P/N L533M2001103 AND THE RIGHT XY FITTING P/N L533M2002103 CORRODED. CLEANED CORROSION AND FOUND BOTH OUT OF LIMITS. THE LEFT ONE IS GETTING REPLACE. THE RIGHT WAS JUST OUT OF LIMITS, AND IS GETTING THE LIMITS ADJUSTED TO STAY IN SERVICE. AWAITING ENGINEERING AUTHORIZATION.
DURING 1000 HOUR AIRFRAME INSPECTION, FOUND MULTIPLE ISSUES WITH THE MAIN CABIN FLOOR AS FOLLOWS. RIGHT INBOARD IMBEDDED SEAT TRACK @ F.S. 5730MM, RBL 120MM CORROSION WAS FOUND IN THE WEB AREA AT THE VERY END OF THE TRACK. IN THE SAME AREA ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FLOOR, FOUND CORROSION ON THE BOTTOM SKIN 2.5 X 4 INCH AREA. ALSO FOUND NUMEROUS DENTS ON THE TOPSIDE OF THE CABIN FLOOR SKIN IN A 10 X 5 INCH AREA. AWAITING ENGINEERING SUPPORT TO LET US KNOW OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE FLOOR.
DURING 1000 HOUR AIRFRAME INSPECTION, FOUND SEVERAL CRACKS UNDER THE MAIN TRANSMISSION DECK. LEFT & RIGHT LONGERONS P/N L533M1017281 & P/N L533M1017282 WERE CRACKED IN THE UPPER FLANGES AT X4565 WITH L/H CRACK MEASURING 0.50 LONG AND R/H MEASURING 0.60 LONE. FOUND A CRACK ON THE REAR R/H STRINGER P/N L533M1017370ON ITS UPPER FLANGE MEASURING 0.50 LONG. THE L/H & R/H A-PROFILES L/H P/N: L533M1017375 AND R/H P/N L533M1017376 ARE CRACKED ACROSS THE WIDTH OF EACH PART. COMPLETING REPAIRS AS PER AIRBUS HELICOPTERS RDAS-EC135-53-2021-4334.
DURING A 1000 HOUR INSPECTION FOUND CORROSION ON THE L/H KEEL BEAM TOP CAT AT NUT PLATE APPROX. F.S 2670MM, LBL 500MM CLEANED CORROSION, REMOVED 0.17 MATERIAL.
DURING 1000 HOUR AIRFRAME INSPECTION FOUND CORROSION AT THE TAIL BOOM AFT RING FRAME REINFORCEMENT WHERE SERVICE BULLETIN SB EC135-53-030 WAS PERFORMED. THE CORROSION HAS MITIGATED UNDER THE REINFORCEMENT P/N L535H2100202. REPLACING THE TAIL BOOM.
DURING SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE EVENT, A CRACK WAS FOUND IN THE R/H FWD TRANSMISSION DECK. THIS CRACK WAS REPAIRED UTILIZING ABH EC-135 STRUCTURAL REPAIR MANUAL. THIS AIRCRAFT HAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE MECHANIC NOTICED SOME "LEVEL 3" CORROSION ON THE F/A CREW SEAT IN THE CABIN WHILE PERFORMING A SCHEDULED INSPECTION. THE CAUSE OF THIS CORROSION IS UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME. THIS ACFT IS CURRENTLY OUT OF SERVICE.
