Maintenance disclosures
CANNON PLUG FOR PRESSURE SWITCH HAD LOSE CONNECTIONS IN PLUG WHICH CAUSED RED XMSN OIL PRESS LIGHT. HAD TO REMOVED CANNON PLUG AND REINSTALL PINS. PULLED AND CLEANED CANNON PLUG FOR PRESSURE TRANSDUCER COULD NOT DUPLICATE DROP IN PRESSURE. PREFORMED OP GROUND RUN NO DEFECTS NOTED. AC THEN RETURNED TO BASE NO ISSUES. AFTER PILOTS SWAPPED OUT ON THE WAY TO GET FUEL HAD A FLICKER OF THE XMSN OIL PRESSURE LIGHT. THE PRESSURE SWITCH WAS THEN REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH SERVICEABLE ONE. PREFORMED OP CHECK FLIGHT CHECK GOOD. NO OTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
ON VERTICAL TAIL FIN CAP FOUND CRACK APP 1-2" IN LENGTH AT AFT OF STA 9725. ON L/H COPILOT DOOR POST STA 2049.5 WL1400 BL 520 FOUND A CRACK APP.1.15" IN LENGTH REF ASRP 3C-A-53-13-01-02A-664A-D CREW DOOR POST SPECIAL REPAIR.
DURING DAILY INSPECTION, FOUR CRACKS WERE FOUND ON THE ENGINE FORWARD SLANTED FIREWALL. ALL CRACKS ARE AT BS 3390, WL 1765. 50 MM CRACK IS AT 1762,. 30 MM CRACK IS AT ABOUT 5 INCHES LEFT OF THE BL LINE. THE 50MM CRACK IS AT 3 INCHES LEFT OF THE BL LINE. ON THE RT SIDE FIREWALL, THE 5 MM CRACK IS 4.5 INCHES TO THE RIGHT OF THE BL LINE AND THE RT SIDE 30 MM CRACK IS 12 INCHES RIGHT OF THE BL LINE
