DAMAGE WAS RE MOVED BY BLENDING AND IT WAS FOUND TO BE BEYOND THE ALLOWABLE LI MITS PER B767-300 SRM 53-80-08,AD-3, DETAIL-II AN ULTRSONIC THIC KNESS (UT) INSP OF THE REWORKED AREA WAS PERFORMED PER B767. WERE ACCOMPLISHED WITH NO REPORTED DEFECTS.
DURING C-CHECK, AMES MAINT DISCOVER ED 2 FASTENER HOLES ON NR 2 PYLON BULKHEAD FITTING WAS WORN & ELONGATED. BOTH INBD & OTBD FASTENER HOLES MEASURED 0.3125" DIA WITH DISTANCE BETWEEN HOLES MEASURING NG 0.250". ATTACHING ANGLE WAS CRACKED & REPLACED. AS TIME-LIMITED FOR 24 MONTHS PENDING THE RESULTS OF A DAMAGE TO REMOVE THE ACFT FROM SERVICE ON OR BEFORE JUNE-7-2026, UNLESS ANOTHER 8100-9 FORM IS RECEIVED FINDING APPROVAL FOR DAMA ECRA-5412-01015. MANUFACTURERS' SPLICES AND CRIMPER DIES MUST BE USED AS A MATCHED SET; IF NOT, AN INCOMPLETE SWAGE WILL RESULT IN HEAT GENERATION FROM GAPS BETWEEN CABLE AND SPLICE SURFACES. UA DEVELOPING A CHANGE ORDER TO REPLACE OLD AL SPLICES WITH NEWER "COPALUM" VERSION, P/N AMP277161-1 IN THE APU GEN POWER FEEDER CABLES.

ON APPROACH, CREW GOT A LEADING EDGE SLAT ASYMMETRY INDICATOR LIGHT. DID GO-AROUND. AMBER ALERT. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO EZE DUE TO RADAR PROBLEMS. *S/D* THE WEATHER RADAR RECEIVER/TRANSMITTER AND ANTENNA DRIVE UNIT WERE REPLACED AND THE SYSTEM OPERATION RETURNED TO NORMAL. SHOP CHECKOUT OF THE REMOVED UNITS FOUND THAT THERE WERE NO FAULTS WITH THE RECEIVER TRANSMITTER BUT THE ANTENNA DRIVE UNIT (P/N 622-5125-001), WAS FOUND TO HAVE THE AZIMUTH FAILED AND LOCKED AND THEREFORE WAS THE CAUSE OF THE RADAR SYSTEM FAILURE ON AIRCRAFT 6651.
NR 2 REAR BRAKE CARBON ROTOR IS CRACKED AND DAMAGED. FOUND DURING MISSING TIE-BOLT INSPECTION. *S/D* THE CARBON ROTOR WAS FOUND DAMAGED. THE ROTOR ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED, OPERATIONS CHECK NORMAL.
EMERGENCY FLOOR LIGHTING AT ROWS 15AB-28AB FLASHES INTERMITTENTLY. REPLACED BATTERY PACK (ROW 26 AB) AND GROUND CHECKED NORMAL.
BIRD STRIKE NR 1 ENGINE, ACCOMPANIED BY VIBRATION. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO FIELD. EXTENSIVE FAN BLADE DAMAGE OCCURRED FROM BIRD STRIKE. THE COMPLETE SET OF FAN BLADES WERE REPLACED.
