CONTROL SENSOR FOR LEFT WINDOW 2 MELTED AND OTHER WIRES HAVE HEAT DAMAGE. PWR WIRE W1120-203B-12 EXTENSIVELY DAMAGED. WIRES WERE REPAIRED AND HARNESS REINSTALLED IN A/C. HARNESS OPERATED OK. SUSPECT LOOSE PINS CAUSED HIGH CURRENT DRAW & C-B FAILED TO OPEN SOON ENOUGH TO PROTECT WIRES.

SHOP CHECK OF THE CARD CONFIRMED THE FAULT WAS A SHORTED COMPONENT ON THE CARD.
FIRE IN MID GALLEY OVEN, LOCATION R31 RECON-OVEN. HAND HELD EXTINGUISHER USED. DIVERTED PHL. OVERWEIGHT LANDING. *S/D* FOUND PAPER BURNED BETWEEN TOP OF OVEN RACK AND EXHAUST FAN OPENING. THE OVEN WAS REMOVED AND THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS WERE INSPECTED. NO DAMAGE WAS NOTED. THE C-B PANEL ABOVE THE OVEN WAS ALSO REMOVED AND INSPECTED. NO DAMAGE WAS NOTED. THE OVEN AND ALL GALLEY EQUIPMENT WERE OPERATED FOR 1 HOUR WITH NO FAULTS FOUND. THE OVEN WAS TESTED PER MM 25-31-00.

CAPS AND SECURE CABLES. (DEFERRED) REPLACED VDB (VIDEO DISTRIBUTION BOX) AND CONNECTED CABLES. OPS CHECKED NORMAL.
FORWARD SERVICE DOOR 1 RIGHT REQUIRES INTERIOR HANDLE TO BE PUSHED FULLY UP TO CLOSE. *S/D* MAINTENANCE FOUND THE INTERIOR HANDLE NOT HOLDING THE CORRECT POSITION WITH THE DOOR OPEN. THE SPRING HYDRAULIC SNUBBER WAS DEFECTIVE. REPLACED SNUBBER PER MM 52-11-31. OPS CHECKS WERE NORMAL.
SMOKE REPORTED FROM OVEN NR 305, FLT ATTENDANT DISCHARGED HALON FIRE EXTINGUISHER INTO OVEN. CB PULLED. CAUSE DUE TO PLASTIC AND PAPER MELTING AND OVERHEATING IN THE FAN AREA ON THE BAFFLE. OVEN REPLACED.
AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO BLOCKS WITH REPORT OF LEFT AFT EXTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. *S/D* PERFORMED EXTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS TEST PER MM. NO PARTS REPLACED, NO FURTHER REOCCURRENCE OF DISCREPANCY.
AFTER LANDING GEAR EXTENSION, EICAS GEAR DISAGREE AND TAIL SKID WARNINGS. GEAR AND TAIL SKID WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON LANDING GEAR INDICATION PANEL BUT HAD ALL GEAR DOWN LIGHTS GREEN. RECYCLED LANDING GEAR AND GOT ALL NORMAL INDICATIONS WITH NO ABNORMAL EICAS OR GEAR WARNINGS.
AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SFO AFTER BOTH UTILITY BUS OFF LIGHTS CAME ON DURING TAKEOFF. *S/D* LEFT GENERATOR CONTROL BREAKER AUXILIARY CONTACT FAILED. REPLACED LEFT AND RIGHT GENERATOR CONTROL BREAKERS.
THE LEFT OVERWING EXIT DOOR REQUIRED 12 POUNDS OF FORCE TO OPEN DURING A MAINTENANCE CHECK. THE TARGET SENSOR WAS MISALIGNED IN THE INBOARD CORE OF THE DOOR. ADJUSTED TARGET SENSO, THE DOOR THEN OPENED FREELY AND THE ACTUATORS OPERATED PER DESIGN.
THE APU SHUTDOWN PRIOR TO ENGINE START. THE APU WOULD NOT RESTART. *S/D* THE SURGE CONTROL VALVE WAS DEFECTIVE AND REPLACED, OPERATIONS CHECK NORMAL. NO OTHER APU DISCREPANCIES HAVE OCCURRED SINCE THIS INCIDENT.
THE RIGHT NR 6 SLIDE LIGHT IS INOP. REPLACED LAMP, OPS CHECK NORMAL.
