CREW REPORTED FUMES IN CABIN AND FLIGHT DECK DURING CRUISE. TURNING OFF UTILITY BUSSES ALLOWED ODOR TO DISSIPATE. CREW ELECTED TO DIVERT INTO IAD (ATL-PVD FLIGHT). DL MTC AND FLT CREW REPORTED FINDING LT ILS RECEIVER CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIPPED. FURTHER MTC INSPECTION OF ILS RECEIVER SHOWED UNIT TO HAVE FAILED/SMOKED AND EMINATING STRONG ODOR. REPLACED TRANSCEIVER.
THE FUSELAGE SKIN WAS FOUND WITH SEVERAL DENTS BETWEEN FS 620 & 640 AND BETWEEN STRINGERS 15L & 17L. THE CREASE BEAM AT STRINGER 16L WAS DENTED. THE SKIN DENTS WERE REMOVED WITH CUTOUTS AND A SECTION OF THE CREASE BEAM WAS CUTOUT TO REMOVE DAMAGE. THE BEAM WAS REPAIRED, REPAIR ANGLES AND THE SKIN WITH A SINGLE ALUMINUM REPAIR DOUBLER PER ER/A 384312-14, REV C.
EMERGENCY LIGHTS INOP AT R4 AND L4 EXTERIOR EGRESS, 45DEF OVERHEAD AND BOTH AFT RIGHT LAV MODULE. FOUND BROKEN WIRE BETWEEN SEAT ROWS 44 AND 45DEF. REPAIRED WIRE, ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTS NOW CHECK NORMAL.
EMERGENCY EVACUATION LIGHTING. SEAT 3C, LIGHT INOPERATIVE. C/A FOUND WIRE BROKEN. REPAIRED SAME.
4L AND 4R DOOR EXTERIOR EMERG LITES OUT C/A RELAMPED
THE FUSELAGE SKIN WAS TORN AND GOUGED AT STRINGER 16L BETWEEN FS 520 TO 540 DUE TO CONTACT WITH A JETWAY. THE DAMAGED SKIN WAS CUTOUT OVER A 24 INCH LONG AREA. THE CUTOUT WAS REPAIRED WITH AN EXTERNAL ALUMINUM DOUBLER INSTALLED PER ER/A 366403-14.
THE FUSELAGE SKIN AT FS 625 WAS FOUND WITH AN OIL CANNED DENT BETWEEN STRINGERS 16L AND 17L. THE DAMAGED AREA OF SKIN WAS CUTOUT AND AN EXTERNAL ALUMINUM REPAIR DOUBLER WAS INSTALLED. THE REPAIR WAS ACCOMPLISHED PER ER/A 365010-14.
PRIOR TO TAKEOFF, ELECTRICAL PUMP OVERHEAT LIGHT ILLUMINATED, FOLLOWED BY A LOSS OF ALL LEFT HYD QUANTITY. MAINTENANCE INSPECTION FOUND FLUID LEAKING OUT OF PUMP SPLINE DRAIN. THE FLUID LEAKED INTO ELECTRICAL PORTION OF PUMP AND NOTICED ARCING AND A BURNING SMELL. PUMP WAS REPLACED, OPERATION NORMAL.
RECEIVED RADOME IN SHOP FOR DELAMINATION. INSPECTED RADOME AND FOUND EXCESSIVE MOISTURE. REMOVED INSIDE SKIN TO DRY MOISTURE. REPLACED DAMAGE CORE, REPLACED INSIDE SKIN AS PER SRM 53-10-72 ERROSION PROTECTION AND PAINT APPLIED AS PER PS 900-9-1-11, NR 05. TRANSMISSIVITY TESTED AND PASSED TEST. RADOME SENT TO STOCK.
