Part: PUMP — FAILED (VACUUM SYSTEM)
VACUUM PUMP FAILED IN LESS THAN 10 HOURS OPERATION. PROBABLY CAUSED BY DE-ICE CONTROL. VALVE RELIEF PRESSURE SET AT 5 PSI, SHOULD BE SET AT 1.5 PSI TO PREVENT OVERWORKING VACUUM PUMP.

UPON DESCENT, A HEAVY LOAD WAS APPLIED TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CAUSING THE MASTER RELAY TO FAIL. SUBSEQUENT PARTIAL POWER LOSS TO THE CABIN RESULTED. THIS REPORT IS FOR C/W FAR 135.415 AND AFS OPS MANUAL 5.9.

FOUND WORN BRUSH IN ALTERNATOR CAUSING SPRING OF BRUSH TO COME OUT OF POSITION TO SHORT ALTERNATOR FIELD. (X)
