MX NOTIFIED FACILITY MX ROUTED TO AIRCRAFT@ KAPA, R&R BOTH LT INBOARD AND OUTBOARD TIRE ASSY, INSPECTED & FUNCTIONALLY TESTED L/H FLAPS, VISUALLY INSPECTED SURROUNDING AREAS/COMPONENTS OF LT LANDING GEAR, HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS/LINES AND BRAKE ASSY. FERRY PERMIT APPLIED FOR TO RELOCATE AIRCRAFT TO MX FACILITY FOR FURTHER INSPECTION.
PILOT REPORTED THE NR 1 HYD PUMP HAD FAILED AN OPS TEST. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE NR 1 HYDRAULIC PUMP, REPLACED THE RESERVOIR FILTERS, DRAINED SYSTEM FLUID, CLEANED THREE FILTERS. SERVICED THE SYSTEM AND OPS TESTED, NO DEFECTS NOTED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE, IAW AMM 29-10-03, AND 29-00-06.
DURING A POST FLIGHT OF AIRCRAFT, THE NR 2 ENG FIRE LOOP FAILED AN OPS TEST. GROUNDED THE AIRCRAFT. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE FIRE DETECTION LOOP. OPS CHECKED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE, IAW AMM 26-10-00.
