THE FLIGHT CREW INITIATED AN EMERGENCY DESCENT AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. THE FLIGHT LANDED SAFELY IN PDX TWENTY MINUTES AFTER DEPARTURE. GROUNDED - YES. THE AIRCRAFT IS CURRENTLY GROUNDED. ROOT CAUSE INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING.

LUBRICATED L-1 DOOR PER REF AMM 12-25-11-640-801 ACCOMPLISHED FORWARD ENTRY DOOR SYSTEM TEST DOOR NOW OPENS WITH 408 IN IBS FORCE & PASSES DOOR SYST TEST REF AMM 52-11-00-700-801. NO ADJUSTMENTS NEEDED ON L-1 DOOR.
