ESS BUS LT W/ ESS BUS BATTERY AUDIO INTERMITTENTLY COMES ON IN FLIGHT UNABLE TO DUPLICATE FAULT ON GROUND
CLIMBING OUT OF APPROXIMATELY 3400 FT, CONTINUOUS WARNING TONE (EITHER PUSHER TEST OR OVERSPEED - THEY ARE VERY SIMILAR) STARTED AND REMAINED ON THE REST OF THE FLIGHT (ABOUT 9 MORE MINUTES) UNTIL ENGINE SHUTDOWN. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHTS I AM HAVING ISSUES WITH THE FORM ALLOWING ME TO ENTER THE ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER, IT IS PCE-PR0505.
PILOT WROTE UP "SPARKS COMING FROM LEFT EXAUST POWER REDUCTION'. MAINTENANCE FINDINGS: INSPECTED LAST STAGE TURBINE DISC, COMBUSTION LINER, FIRST STAGE COMPRESSOR BLADES AND CT DISC BLADES. NO OBVIOUS DISCREPANCIES NOTED. PERFORMED ENGINE PERFORMANCE RUN. ALL PARAMETERS WITHIN LIMITS. CONSULTED PWC AND AMC SERVICE ENGINEERING, ENGINE DEEMED SERVICEABLE SUSPECT CARBON OR OIL DEBRIS TO BE CAUSING THIS ISSUE.
BELLY SKIN CORROSION FOUND UNDER BELLY PANELS 12AB AND 12BB AND 12CR. THIS AIRCRAFT IS CURRENTLY OUT OF SERVICE WHILE THIS DAMAGE IS EVALUATED BY THE MANUFACTURER, AND AN APPROVED REPAIR CAN BE PERFORMED.
