PILOT REPORTED HE WAS UNABLE TO CLOSE THE LITTER AND GET LATCHED DUE TO THE DOOR LATCH WAS OVER CENTER.
AFTER LANDING AND DURING ENGINE SHUT DOWN, THERE WAS A PRONOUNCED VIBRATION. AFTER SHUT DOWN THERE WAS ENGINE OIL RUNNING OUT OF THE OIL TANK. MAINTENANCE FOUND A CRACK IN THE ENGINE OIL TANK DRAIN VALVE BOSS WELD. UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION ONE OF THE TAIL ROTOR ELASTOMERIC BEARINGS WAS FOUND TO BE SEPARATED.

DURING A ROUTINE INSPECTION 300 HR, MECHANIC REMOVED THE FITTING TO INSPECT THE NR 6 - 7 NOZZLE. METAL WAS FOUND IN & AROUND THE SCREEN. THIS IS NONFERROUS METAL. THE OIL PUMP IS COMING APART. THE ENG IS REMOVED & WAITING FOR NEW ONE TO ARRIVE. OIL SAMPLE TAKEN, CHIPS ARE ON A SHEET TO BE SENT OUT FOR ANALYSIS.
