AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETRUNED TO MIA DUE TO THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTING THAT DURING CLIMB OUT PASSENGERS AND FLIGHT ATTENDANTS REPORTED A COWLING DEPARTED THE AIRCRAFT ON TAKEOFF. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY AT MIA AND TAXIED TO THE GATE DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND RETURNED TO MIA. MAINTENANCE REPORTED THAT WHILE PERFORMING WALK AROUND DURING OVERWEIGHT INSPECTION PER AMM 05-51-11 IT WAS NOTED THERE WERE NO COWLINGS THAT DEPARTED THE AIRCRAFT. THE ONLY PIECES MISSING ARE ON THE LEFT WING #3 FLAP TRACK FAIRING WHICH ARE THE AFT UPPER COVER AND TAIL CONE WHICH WERE DOCUMENTED AS BEING REMOVED ON 20 FEB 2026 AND ARE CURRENTLY ON DEFERRAL PER CDL 27-05 WHICH REQUIRED THEM TO BE REMOVED PER AMM 57-55-00-040. NO OTHER MAINTENANCE ACTION WAS REQUIRED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS DETERMINED TO BE OK FOR FURTHER SERVICE.

FLIGHT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT AND TAXIED TO THE GATE. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED BOROSCOPE INSPECTION OF NR 1 ENGINE. NO DEFECTS NOTED. ACCOMPLISHED TROUBLESHOOTING TASK 73-00-00-02 AND REPLACED NR 1 ENGINE T3 SENSOR PER MM 77-23-10-04. RAN ENGINES AT VARIOUS POWER SETTINGS. ALL OPERATIONS NORMAL. ALSO, REMOVED AND REPLACED NR 1 ENGINE AGENT ONE DISCHARGE BOTTLE. OPS CHECK GOOD.

ENROUTE PIT-IAH. DURING FLIGHT, NOTICED OILY ODOR AT MID-CABIN. FLIGHT CONTINUED AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE OPERATED THE AIR CONDITIONING PACKS WITH THE APU. NO ODOR DETECTED. CHECKED APU AREA. NO OIL DRAINAGE NOTED. FOUND AIRCRAFT OK FOR SERVICE.

CLT - THE RIGHT SIDE AFT ENTRY DOOR SLIDE COVER WOULD NOT REMAIN INSTALLED. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE RIGHT SIDE AFT ENTRY DOOR ESCAPE SLIDE, THEN INSTALLED COVER. OK FOR SERVICE. (M)
NO EMERGENCY LIGHTS DID NOT ILLUMINATE ON THE AFT RIGHT SLIDE WHEN THE SLIDE WAS DEPLOYED FOR AN OPERATIONAL CHECK. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE ESCAPE SLIDE. OPERATIONALLY CHECKED EMERGENCY LIGHTS SYSTEM. OK FOR SERVICE. (M)
CLT - THE EMERGENCY LIGHT TEST INDICATED A 'L FWD LT' FAULT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE BATTERY PACK FOR THE LEFT FORWARD LIGHT. OPERATIONALLY CHECKED AND TESTED OK. (M)
STL - FLT 163 - EN ROUTE PHL-PHX - WHILE IN CRUISE AT FL350, A VIBRATION WAS FELT IN THE COCKPIT AREA, FOLLOWED LATER BY AN ELECTRICAL ODOR. WHEN THE ODOR BECAME PRESENT, THE CREW PUT ON THEIR OXYGEN MASKS AND THE FLIGHT DIVERTED TO STL, AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE AVIONICS FAN. OPS CHECKED NORMAL. (M)
