DURING A SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE INSPECTION, A CRACK WAS FOUND ON THE L/H ENGINE INBOARD PLENUM PANEL AFT SIDE MIDDLE STIFFENER. A TEMPORARY REPAIR WAS PERFORMED ON THE L/H ENGINE INBOARD PLENUM PANEL PER TEXTRON DOCUMENT REF: DQ43349M1. REPLACED THE PANEL IAW CESSNA 408 SRM 51-40-11 AND 408 IPC 54-10-25-01.
DURING A SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE INSPECTION, A CRACK WAS DISCOVERED IN THE #2 ENGINE LOWER FWD COWL OUTBOARD UNDER THE EXHAUST. CORRECTIVE ACTION: A TEMPORARY REPAIR WAS PERFORMED PER FXTB DOCUMENT #01/30/2024. REPLACED THE LOWER FWD COWL MID SKIN AND INLET FRAME IAW C408 MM 51-40-05. PN#S 7852116-82, 7852117-16.
DURING INSPECTION, AILERON CONTROL WAS DISCOVERED TO HAVE UNUSUALLY HIGH RESISTANCE. RESISTANCE WAS EVENTUALLY ISOLATED TO THE LEFT AILERON. BOTH BEARINGS WERE REPLACED AND THE OUTBOARD BEARING WAS FOUND ALMOST FROZEN WITH CORROSION. THESE ARE SEALED BEARINGS AND HAD NO OUTWARD SIGNS TO INDICATE A PROBLEM. NO REASON FOR THE CORROSION WAS NOTED.
