THE IN TRANSIT LIGHT REMAINED ON WHEN THE GEAR WAS RETRACTED. WHEN MOVED TO THE DOWN POSITION, RECEIVED THREE GREEN, NO RED. GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED, LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
DURING RUN UP AUTO FEATHERS CHECKED SAT. DURING POWER UP ON TAKEOFF ROLL AUTO FEATHERS ARMED AT APPROX 80 KTS PLUS LEFT AUTO FEATHER LIGHT WENT OUT. TAKEOFF ABORTED. STOPPED ON RUNWAY, DID A RUN UP AND AUTO FEATHER ARMED. BEGAN A SECOND TAKEOFF ROLL AND AT APPROX 80 KTS PLUS LEFT AUTO FEATHER LIGHT WENT OUT AGAIN. TAKEOFF ABORTED.
ON TAKEOFF ROLL AT APPROX 60 KIAS, PNF OBSERVED DISCHARGED LIGHT ILLUMINATION ON LEFT FIRE BOTTLE. PNF CALLED OUT AN ABORT AND PF ABORTED TAKEOFF. CREW TAXIED AIRCRAFT TO HANGAR WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. FOUND BROKEN WIRE TO NR 1 FIRE BOTTLE. REPAIRED BROKEN WIRE, SYSTEM OPS CHECKED GOOD.
IN CRUISE FLIGHT AT 16000 MSL, RIGHT PROP PITCH ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. NO OTHER INDICATIONS ON INSTRUMENTS. NO AFFECTS ON AIRCRAFT HANDLING WERE DETECTED IN FLIGHT. CREW ELECTED TO RETURN TO HOME BASE. IN ANTICIPATION OF POSSIBLE ASYMMETRIC THRUST ON LANDING, DECLARED EMERGENCY SO THAT EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT WOULD BE STANDING BY. LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED DEFECTIVE RIGHT PROP PROXIMITY SWITCH.
AFTER TAKEOFF FUEL WAS STREAMING FROM RIGHT MAIN FUEL CAP WITH FUEL CAP FLUSH WITH AIRCRAFT SURFACE. REQUESTED PRIORITY HANDLING FROM TOWER, LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED LANYARD WAS BROKEN AND CAUGHT BETWEEN FUEL CAP AND SEALING SURFACE.
ON APPROACH, LOWERED LANDING GEAR AND NO AUDIBLE SOUND HEARD NOR ANY LIGHTS INDICATED IN GEAR HANDLE OR ON POSITION LIGHTS. FLAPS LOWERED TO FULL POSITION IN ORDER TO CONFIRM ABNORMAL INDICATION. LANDING GEAR HORN SOUNDED INDICATING GEAR WAS NOT IN DOWN POSITION. WHILE COMPLETING ABNORMAL CHECKLIST NOTED LANDING GEAR C/B WAS POPPED. CHOSE TO DIVERT BACK TO BASE AIRPORT. ON APPROACH, EMERGENCY DECLARED, ABNORMAL CHECKLIST REVIEWED, LANDING GEAR MANUALLY LOWERED AND CORRECT GEAR DOWN/LOCKED INDICATION OBTAINED. GEAR VISUALLY CONFIRMED DOWN BY TOWER. MAINTENANCE FOUND VALVE ASSY ON ACCUMULATOR LEAKING AT BASE. REMOVED/REPLACED VALVE ASSY AND SERVICED ACCUMULATOR.
FLAPS AT APPROACH POSITION. SELECTED LANDING GEAR DOWN. POSITION INDICATORS SHOWED GREEN FOR NOSE AND LEFT MAIN GEAR. NO INDICATION ON RIGHT MAIN GEAR. CHECKED ANNUNCIATOR, GOOD. SELECTED FLAPS FULL DOWN AND RECEIVED CONFIGURATION WARNING HORN. DECLARED EMERGENCY WITH APPROACH. FOLLOWED ABNORMAL PROCEDURES CHECKLIST. OBTAINED DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION AFTER MANUALLY PUMPING DOWN THE GEAR. CONDUCTED TOWER FLY BY TO VERIFY. VERIFIED THAT CONFIGURATION WARNING HORN DID NOT OCCUR WITH FULL FLAPS SELECTED. CONDUCTED UNEVENTFUL LANDING. AIRCRAFT TOWED TO HANGAR AND PLACED ON JACKS. DUPLICATED DISCREPANCY. INSPECTED RT DOWNLOCK SWITCH AND WIRING. FOUND S506 CONNECTOR LOOSE. SECURED CONNECTOR. OPERATION FOUND GOOD ON SEVERAL GEAR RETRACTION CYCLES.
ON FINAL APPROACH, LOWERED GEAR AT FAF - NO LEFT MAIN GEAR LIGHT. CYCLED GEAR ONCE INSIDE FAF - STILL NO LIGHTS, EXECUTED FLY BY RWY 4R. 2 AIRLINE CREWS ADVISED ALL 3 GEARS APPEAR DOWN. FLEW LT TRAFFIC, CYCLED GEAR 3RD TIME, OBSERVED GEAR RETRACT AND EXTEND. (K)

WHILE SETTING UP FOR FLIGHT INSPECTION MANEUVER, GOT A RED MASTER CAUTION LIGHT WITH AN AP TRIM DISC LIGHT. TEMPORARILY LOST TCAS, PILOTS FLIGHT DIRECTOR, AND THE PILOTS NCU. AT THE SAME TIME HEARD ELECTRICAL SHORTING SOUND. STRONG ELECTRICAL FUMES WERE DETECTED AND THE CREW DONNED O2 MASK. COPILOT INFORMED APPROACH OF THEIR STATUS AND REQUESTED A FULL STOP LANDING. SHORTLY AFTER THE POWER INTERRUPTION, PILOTS NCU CAME BACK UP. COPILOT TURNED OFF THE MISSION EQUIPMENT AND THE MSU TO REDUCE CHANCES OF ELECTRICAL FIRE AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS DEPRESSURIZED ON FINAL IN AN ATTEMPT TO REDUCE FUMES. THE CREW MADE AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING. FOUND LASER REFERENCE COOLING FAN SHORTED.
ON TAKEOFF ROLL AT 70KIAS, THE 1 TORQUE GAUGE JUMPED FROM 35 TO 120 WITH THROTTLES ALIGNED. RIGHT TORQUE DID NOT EXCEED 70 TAKEOFF ABORTED. REMOVED AND REPLACED NR 1 TORQUE INDICATOR. OPS CHECK SATISFACTORY. (M)
