FIRE/RESCUE PERFORMED IR CHECK OF AFT CARGO COMPARTMENT- CHECKED OK. THEN THEY PERFORMED A VISUAL INSPECTION OF FWD + AFT CARGO COMPARTMENTS, CHECKED OK; INSPECTED BOTH FWD AND AFT CARGO COMPARTMENTS. NO EVIDENCE OF SMOKE OR FIRE. BOTH COMPARTMENTS ARE CLEAN . R & R CARGO FIRE BOTTLE PER AMM 26-23-42: TESTS OK AT THIS TIME. ITEM CLEARED, MX-4 UPDATED, PLACARD REMOVED, MCC NOTIFIED. R & R CARGO FIRE BOTTLE PER AMM 26-23-42: TESTS OK AT THIS TIME. DISCOVERED 23F CABIN SIDEWALL LIGHT BURNED OUT. THERE WAS AN ASSOCIATED BURNED ELECTRICAL ODOR IN GALLEY; REPLACED THE LAMP. OPS CHECK PASSED. ACCOMPLISHED TSM 24-00-00-810-823. NO OTHER ELECTRICAL ODORS NOTED IN CABIN OR GALLEY AREA. NO BREAKERS TRIPPED. INSPECTION OF WIRING IN AREA OF 23F SIDEWALL FOUND TO BE OK IAW AMM 33-21-11.
DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, OVERHEAD EMERGENCY LIGHT AT ROW 18 WAS FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE. FOUND THAT CONNECTOR HAD BACKED OFF FROM CONNECTION POINT. RECONNECTED WIRES AND PERFORMED OPS CHECK. OPS CHECK PASSED.
