PHX - EEL - DURING EMERGENCY LIGHT TEST THE LT AFT EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY UNIT FAILED CIDS BITE CHECK. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE LT AFT EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY UNIT (13WL) IAW AMM 33-51-38-401, FUNCTIONAL CHECK WAS GOOD.
PHX - TAILPIPE FIRE - WHEN AUXILIARY POWER UNIT (APU) WAS SHUTDOWN AN APU TAILPIPE FIRE WAS NOTICED FROM THE GROUND. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE APU IAW T/C R6D49301, LEAK AND OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS GOOD.
PHX - EEL - C - DURING INSPECTION OF EMERGENCY LIGHT SYSTEM RT OVERWING EXIT LIGHTS DID NOT ILLUMINATE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY UNIT 12WL WITH BATTERY PACK IAW AMM 33-51-38-401. OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS GOOD.
YWG - EEL - "C" - DURING BC-02 CHECK INSPECTION ROWS #4 L/H, #10 L/H & R/H, #14 L/H, #16 L/H EMERGENCY SEAT LIGHTS CONNECTORS WERE FOUND TO REQUIRE REPLACEMENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED EMERGENCY SEAT LIGHT CONNECTORS AT ROWS #4 L/H, #10 L/H & R/H, #14 L/H, #16 L/H IAW ESPM 20-44-32, OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS GOOD.
PHX - AIR TURNBACK - 6/8/01 - FLT 83 - AFTER TAKEOFF THE EQUIPMENT COOLING EXTRACT VALVE LIGHT REMAINED AMBER AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO PHX. MX PERFORMED A BITE CHECK OF THE AVEC SYSTEM WHICH TESTED OK. CHECKED THE LAST LEG REPORT AND NO FAULTS NOTED. CHECKED CLASS 3 FAULTS AND NO FAULTS NOTED. PERFORMED A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE EXTRACT DOOR AND NO DISCREPANCIES WERE NOTED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE AND NO FURTHER DISCREPANCIES HAVE BEEN REPORTED.
FLOOR PATH LIGHT AT 10C DOES NOT WORK. RE-TERMINATED E-PATH WIRE AT SEAT DISCONNECT 5751VC, 10 RT.
AIR TURNBACK, BURNING ODOR REF LP7621610, AFTER PASSING THROUGH 5,000 FT, FLT ATT ADVISED OF ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL IN AFT GALLEY. COMPLETED AN EXTENSIVE REGIMEN TO ISOLATE. BORESCOPED NR 2 ENG FOR INTERNAL OIL LEAK, RAN ENGINES TO PERFORM BLEED ISOLATION, INSPECTED APU COMPRESSOR FOR FLUID LEAKS. INSPECTED CARGO, AND ELECTRICAL COMPARTMENTS, ALSO COFFEE MAKERS AND OVENS. NO DISCREPANCIES FOUND. WD 40 ODOR WAS NOTICED BRIEFLY ON 16 AUG 99 WITH NO DEFECT FOUND.
OBNOXIOUS ODOR LIKE WD-40 COMING FROM AC SYSTEM WHEN PACKS 1 AND 2 ARE RUNNING OFF APU AIR. RAN PACKS OFF NR 1 AND NR 2 ENG AND OFF APU BLEED. NO ABNORMAL ODORS IN CABIN.
