BONDING BRAIDS (P/N SA350A31185100) ARE PRONE TO BREAKING PREMATURELY AND ARE NOT LASTING AS EXPECTED. DESPITE PROPER INSTALLATION, THE COMPONENTS SHOW SIGNS OF FAILURE AFTER MINIMAL FLIGHT HOURS, INDICATING A POTENTIAL DURABILITY ISSUE.
THERE IS CORROSION DAMAGE TO THE LEFT HAND CABIN FLOOR EDGING (PN: 350A21-1359-20/21).
CORROSION WAS DISCOVERED ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE CABIN FLOOR EDGE SECTION (AIRBUS PN 350A21-1359) RANGING FROM STA X1120 TO X2437.
CHAFING DAMAGE WAS DISCOVERED ON THE LT LATERAL BULKHEAD (X FRAME) P/N: 350A21-1051 ON THE INBOARD FACE. THE DAMAGE IS LOCATED ON THE INTERIOR (INBOARD) SIDE OF THE X FRAME LT AFT LOWER LEG STA 3650, BL 430L AND WL 2305.
THE TRANSMISSION SUPPORT FRAME (PN 350A21-1041-143) HAS CHAFING DAMAGE ON THE LOWER FLANGE FROM AN UNSECURED CABLE.
PILOT REPORTS OZONE ELEC ODOR IN CABIN. RETURN TO LAS CRUCES, NO SMELL AFTER SHUT DOWN. BARELY MINIMAL SMELL ON OCCASION WHILE SITTING IN CABIN, POSSIBLE OUTSIDE ODOR. INSPECTION REVEALED NO OBVIOUS BURNING, LIGHTING NOT TURNED ON. FOUND BEHIND VEMD SCAT FOR GLARE SHIELD AIR FWD NOT PLACED IN POSITION CORRECTLY & SUSPECTED AIR CONDITIONING AIR BLOWING ACROSS ELEC BEHIND PANEL. FOUND DISCONNECTED GROUND LUG FOR DIMMERS & REATTACHED. REPOSITIONED SCAT, SECURED ACFT FILLED OUT LOG & RECEIVED RII. PILOT LET RUN ON GND FOR FIVE MINUTES BEFORE TAKEOFF. NO FURTHER INCIDENTS RETURNING TO BASE. TIME ON GND 1 HR APPROXIMATELY, NO STATIC LINES DISCONNECTED OR AVIONICS REMOVED FOR VISUAL INSPECTION.
