ON T/OFF WHEN GEAR SELECTED UP HYD PRESS LIGHT STAYED ON WITH GEAR UP. REMOVED NOSE LANDING GEAR UPLOCK SWITCH (PN OFF: 65-430087, SN OFF: NSN), AND REPLACED WITH NEW NOSE LANDING GEAR UPLOCK SWITCH P/N ON: 65-430087.
AFTER FLAPS CAME UP, POINTER INDICATED UP BUT THE AIRCRAFT WAS STILL SPEED LIMITED TO 200 KNOTS ON SPEED TAPE. CYCLING THE FLAPS DID NOT CLEAR THE ISSUE AND PROBLEM STILL REMAINS AFTER RETURNING TO FIELD. HYD PRESS DID GO OUT AS NORMAL.
THE GEAR HANDLE WAS SELECTED UP, BUT THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR INDICATION REMAINED ILLUMINATED GREEN (DOWN AND LOCKED), WHILE THE OTHER TWO GEAR LIGHTS EXTINGUISHED AS EXPECTED. THERE WERE NO ASSOCIATED RED OR AMBER WARNINGS, AND NO ABNORMAL AIRCRAFT FEEDBACK SUGGESTING THE GEAR WAS STILL EXTENDED. R & R RT MLG ACTUATOR
WHILE ON DESCENT TO OUR DESTINATION AIRPORT, IN A HAZE LAYER DODGING THUNDERSTORMS. WE DID HAVE THE ON-BOARD RADAR ON THE NEXRAD WEATHER DISPLAYED AS WELL. BRIEFLY HAD A POCKET OF VFR WHEN NOTICED A VERY LARGE THUNDERSTORM IN FRONT OF US BUILDING QUICKLY (THIS THUNDERSTORM DID NOT PAINT ON OUR ON BOARD RADAR NOR WAS IT ON THE NEXRAD). TURNED OFF THE AUTO PILOT AND MADE A SHARP LT TURN TO TRY AND AVOID IT. BUT THAT WAS TOO LATE. GOT INTO THE OUTER EDGE OF THE THUNDERSTORM AND EXPERIENCED SEVERE TURBULENCE. STRUGGLED TO KEEP THE NOSE ON THE HORIZON AS WE CONTINUED TO DESCEND. BROUGHT THE THROTTLES TO IDLE AND I DONâT THINK WE EVER EXCEEDED 280KTS.WERE IN THE TURBULENCE FOR ABOUT 20-25 SECONDS BEFORE WE FINALLY BROKE OUT AND SUCCESSFULLY RECOVERED WE DID ADVISE ATC OF THE SITUATION. THEY APPROVED DEVIATIONS AS NEEDED AND JUST REQUESTED US TO CONTINUE ON COURSE WHEN ABLE. AFTER THINGS CALM DOWN, ASSESSED THE SITUATION AND DETERMINED THAT THE AIRCRAFT APPEARED TO BE AIRWORTHY AND NO DAMAGE WAS NOTED BY US AT THE TIME. CONTACTED THE OFFICE VIA WI-FI AND ELECTED TO DIVERT TO PALM BEACH SO THE AIRCRAFT COULD BE INSPECTED.
AFTER DEPARTING KADS, PERFORMED NORMAL DEPARTURE WITH RADAR VECTORS ON COURSE. UPON PASSING FL200 FLIGHT CREW HEARD A LOUD BANG, IT WAS THEN NOTICED THAT THE CAPTAINS SIDE WINDOW HAD SHATTERED. STOPPED CLIMB AND RETURNED TO KADS.
RIGHT SIDE FO'S SIDE WINDOW SHATTERED.
CREW REPORTED A GEAR HORN AND LIGHT AFTER THE GEAR WAS RETRACTED. THE SWITCH FOR THE GEAR AT THE POWER LEVER WAS FOUND TO BE STICKING. THE SWITCH WAS CLEANED AND LUBRICATED, GEAR SWUNG, WITH ALL INDICATIONS NORMAL.
FLIGHT CREW REPORTED NO GEAR INDICATION. A LOOSE WIRE WAS FOUND ON THE NOSE GEAR UPLOCK SWITCH. THE WIRE WAS RE-SECURED, GEAR SWUNG, WITH ALL INDICATIONS NORMAL.
FLT NR 4122 - AIRCRAFT STRUCK A BIRD ON CLIMB-OUT. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO FIELD LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AIRCRAFT IAW MM 5-00-00. NO DEFECTS NOTED. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. (M)
FLT 4089 - AFTER TAKEOFF, 'BETA' HORN SOUNDED, CREW UNABLE TO CANCEL HORN, ELECTED TO RETURN TO FIELD. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. DAY MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AIRCRAFT, DISCOVERED A DEFECTIVE MICROSWITCH ACTUATOR. MAINTENANCE REPLACED ACTUATOR IAW MM 27-00-00. GROUND CHECKED GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FLT NR 4135 - DURING TAKEOFF ROLL, CREW HEARD AN AUDIBLE THUMP ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF AIRCRAFT. CREW REJECTED TAKEOFF AND RETURNED TO GATE. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AIRCRAFT FOR DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF A BIRD OR SMALL ANIMAL STRIKE. NO DAMAGE WAS FOUND, AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FLT 4116 - AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO GATE AFTER CREW NOTICED LEFT SRL COMPUTER MALFUNCTION, AND ABORTED TAKEOFF. MAINTENANCE REPLACED SRL COMPUTER MONO-POLE PICK IAW MM 72-10-00. GROUND RAN ENGINE IAW MM 72-00-00, OPS CHECKED GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. (W)
FLT 4065 - DURING APPROACH AND PREPARATION FOR LAND ROA, CREW SELECTED GEAR 'DOWN', NO RESPONSE, EXTENDED GEAR AND FLAP WITH EMERGENCY SYSTEM. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AIRCRAFT AND DISCOVERED BROKEN HYDRAULIC PRESSURE LINE, RT ENGINE COMPARTMENT, REPLACED DEFECTIVE LINE IAW MM 29-10-15, ALSO, CONDUCTED LOST HYDRAULIC FLUID INSPECTION IAW MM 29-10-00. OPS CHECKED GOOD, AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
