RIGHT ENGINE FAILS TO START. REMOVED AND REPLACED R/H STARTER/GENERATOR WITH OVERHAULED. OPS CHECK GOOD. WORK DONE IAW AMM 80-10-00

MAGNETIC PARTICLE NDT INSPECTION OF SLIDE TUBE, PN 101A703013, SN BD48, REVEALED AN INDICATION (CRACK) EXTENDING FROM THE TOP OF THE TUBE THROUGH THE HOLE FOR SOCKET SET SCREW, PN 741M1-4D, AND DOWN THE TUBE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 0.520 INCH. SUBJECT SLIDE TUBE HAS BEEN REJECTED, AND WILL BE REPLACED.

MAGNETIC PARTICLE NDT INSPECTION OF SLIDE TUBE, PN 101A703013, SN BD48, REVEALED AN INDICATION (CRACK) EXTENDING FROM THE TOP OF THE TUBE, THROUGH THE HOLE FOR SOCKET SET SCREW, PN 741M1-4D, AND DOWN THE TUBE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 0.520 INCH. SUBJECT SLIDE TUBE HAS BEEN REJECTED, AND WILL BE REPLACED.
AIRCRAFT ABORTED TAKEOFF DUE TO LEFT BETA LIGHT ILLUMINATED AT 60 PERCENT TORQUE. THE SYSTEM WAS TROUBLESHOT AND THE BETA SWITCH WAS DETERMINED TO BE AT FAULT. THE SWITCH WAS REPLACED AND A FUNCTIONAL CHECK OF THE SYSTEM PERFORMED WITH ALL INDICATIONS NORMAL. (M)
FLT 4091 - AFTER TAKEOFF, AFTER LANDING GEAR WAS RETRACTED, LEFT MLG INTRANSIT LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO FIELD, LANDED WITHUT FURTHER INCIDENT. PIT MAINTENANCE JACKED THE AIRCRAFT, CONDUCTED A GEAR SWING, UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
