TAKING OFF OUT OF CVG, RUNWAY WE RETRACED THE LANDING AFTER A POSITIVE RATE, AT FRA FLAPS WERE SELECT TO UP POSITION AND HYDRAULIC LIGHT KEPT ON. WE HAVE A GEAR IN SAFE RED LIGHT ON. REALIGNED LH MLG AND RH MLG WHEEL CAMBER
UPON TAKEOFF OUT OF KTVC AND SUBSEQUENT GEAR UP CALL THE GEAR RETRACTS BUT THE UNLOCK LIGHT DOESN'T EXTINGUISH. ALL 3 GREEN LIGHTS GO OUT. HYDRAULIC PRESSURE LIGHT STAYS ILLUMINATED AND THEN FLASHES AFTER APPROXIMATELY 40 SECONDS. REMOVED DEFECTIVE NLG UPLOCK SWITCH ASSEMBLY (P/N: 65â430087, S/N: 0247) AND INSTALLED NEW SWITCH ASSEMBLY (P/N: 65-430087, S/N: 2402).
AT INITIAL TAKEOFF/CLIMB OUT AND MOVING THE GEAR HANDLE UP, THE RED UNLOCK LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. AT FRA WE BROUGHT THE FLAPS UP AND SOON AFTER GOT A STAB MIS COMPARE AND HYD PRESSURE LIGHT ILLUMINATE. PERFORMED GEAR SWINGS AND OTHER OPERATIONAL TESTS CND
ON APPROACH AND GIVEN INSTRUCTION TO SLOW. CONFIGURED THE AIRPLANE FOR FLAPS 15. RECEIVED A STAB MISCOMPARE & DISCONTINUED THE APPROACH. REMOVED, INSPECTED & REINSTALLED PCBS NZ016 AND NZ017. CLEANED AND INSPECTED ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR PF029, RESEATED ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR PF029.
CO-PILOT WINDSHIELD CRACKED FL 410. DIVERT TO LAS
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: WE HAVE FOUND THAT THE BRAKE SYSTEM RUNS CONTINUOUSLY WHEN AIRCRAFT POWER IS ON AND PRESSURE BUILDS TO THE POINT WHERE THE MOTOR LOAD WILL TRIP THE BREAKER. WE ISOLATED THE HI PRESSURE SWITCH FROM THE SYSTEM AND MOTOR WILL STILL RUN, WE HAVE CONTINUITY THROUGH THE CONTROL RELAY WITH NO POWER ON THE AIRCRAFT. REMOVED AND REPLACED BRAKE CONTROL RELAY KN003 IAW CE-560XL MM CHAPTER 32-40-01. BLED BRAKES IAW CE-560XL MM CHAPTER 32-42-00. FINAL LEAK AND OPS CHECKS GOOD.
CREW EXPERIENCED A 30 PERCENT TORQUE FLUX IN CRUISE FLIGHT. SHUT DOWN ENGINE AND RETURNED TO THE FIELD. THE PROP GOVERNOR WAS REPLACED, GROUND RAN WITH ALL INDICATIONS NORMAL.
CARGO SMOKE DETECTOR ILLUMINATED DURING TAXI. THE PASSENGERS WERE EVACUATED FROM THE AIRCRAFT. FIRE DEPARTMENT INSPECTED BAGGAGE AREA AND FOUND NO SIGN OF SMOKE OR SMELL. ALL BAGS WERE REMOVED FROM CARGO AREA. CREW OPS DEFERRED. WHEN AIRCRAFT ARRIVED IN PIT, MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE SMOKE DETECTOR. A FUNCTIONAL TEST OF THE SYSTEM WAS PERFORMED WITH ALL INDICATIONS NORMAL. (M)
FLT NR 4111 - ON TAKEOFF ROLL, CAPTAIN NOTICED HIS AIRSPEED INDICATOR WAS READING LOW. CREW ABORTED TAKEOFF, AND RETURNED TO THE GATE. PIT MX ACTIVATED PITOT HEAT TO REMOVE ICE ACCUMULATION IN THE PITOT HEAD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. (M)
LANDING GEAR WARNING HORN CONTINUED TO SOUND AFTER LANDING GEAR WAS RETRACTED, WOULD NOT CANCEL. CREW ELECTED TO RETURN TO FIELD. CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. PIT MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AIRCRAFT AND DISCOVERED A DIRTY MICROSWITCH ACTUATOR ON THE LANDING CONTROL HANDLE. CLEANED THE MICROSWITCH ACTUATOR IAW MM 32-00-00 AND STD MX PRACTICES. LANDING GEAR SWING CHECKED GOOD, AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. (M)
FLT NR 4144 - CREW ELECTED TO ABORT TAKEOFF AFTER NOTICING AN RPM DROP TO 99 PERCENT RIGHT ENGINE, RETURNED TO GATE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE CONDUCTED ENGINE GROUND RUNS IAW MM 71-00-00. WERE NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE PROBLEM. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FLT NR 4035 - AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO GATE AFTER CREW REPORTED SMOKE AND ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL IN COCKPIT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AIRCRAFT AND DISCOVERED CHAFFED WIRES FLIGHT OFFICER HSI. REPAIRED DAMAGED WIRES IAW STANDARD MAINTENANCE PRACTICES. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FLT 4129 - DURING CLIMB-OUT CAPTAIN NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE LOWER INTSTRUMENT PANEL. CREW ELECTED TO RETURN TO THE FIELD. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION BY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL REVEALED WATER UNDER LIGHT PANEL CAUSING SHORT CIRCUIT. FURTHER INVESTIGATION FAILED TO REVEAL SOURCE OF WATER. WATER WAS CLEANED FROM LIGHT PANEL AND AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. (W)
PIT - FLT 4092 - CREW ABORTED TAKEOFF, LT ENGINE NOT PRODUCING TARGET TORQUE. RETURNED TO GATE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. PIT MAINTENANCE ADJUSTED MAX FUEL FLOW, EGT COMP RESISTOR, AND TORQUE SIGNAL CONDITIONER ALL IAW GARRETT MM 72-00-00. ALSO, CONDUCTED ENGINE GROUND RUNS IAW GARRETT MM 72-00-00. OPS CHECKED GOOD, AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
PIT - FLT 4157 - DURING TAKEOFF ROLL AT APPROXIMATELY 90 KNOTS, CREW NOTICED LEFT ENGINE NOT MAKING ENOUGH TORQUE. TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED AND AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE GATE. PIT MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AIRCRAFT AND FOUND A BROKEN P3 AIR SUPPLY LINE, LEFT ENGINE. REPLACED LINE IAW MM 21-10-00. OPS CHECKED GOOD, AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
