CREW ELECTED TO RETURN TO BLOCK. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED GROUND CHECKS INDICATED CLOSE PROXIMITY OF VALVE TO BLEED AIR LEAK DETECTOR LOOP. REPOSITIONED 14TH STAGE BLEED AIR SHUTOFF AND REGULATING VALVE AND RE-CLAMPED. SECURED BLEED AIR LEAK DETECTOR LOOP. GROUND RUN AND LEAK CHECKED GOOD.
AIRCRAFT WAS EN ROUTE FROM KSDL TO MDSM, HAD DUCT FAIL LIGHT ILLUMINATE. CREW ELECTED TO RETURN TO BLOCK. MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED SAFETY WIRE SHORTING INTERMITTENTLY AGAINST WING DUCT TEMP SENSOR.
DETECTED A RISE IN CABIN ALTITUDE THAT WAS NOT CONSIDERED NORMAL. MADE A PRECAUTIONARY DESCENT AND PERFORMED THE CABIN PRESSURE LOW CHECKLIST. LANDED AIRCRAFT AT INTENDED DESTINATION WITHOUT INCIDENT. FOUND A/C DISTRIBUTION DUCT FORWARD OF APU DISCONNECTED. RECONNECTED DUCT.
