THE CREW FOUND THAT CABIN EMERGENCY ESCAPE LIGHTS WOULD NOT TEST. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE BATTERY PACK AND THE LIGHTS CHECKED OK.

MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED THAT THE ALIGNMENT PIN FOR THE TAILCONE WAS WORN OUT OF ALLOWABLE LIMITS. THE PIN WAS REPLACED AND THE SYSTEM WAS RIGGED TO SPECIFICATIONS. THE FUNCTIONAL CHECK WAS COMPLETED SATISFACTORILY.
MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED THAT THE KEVLAR SLEEVE OVER THE RELEASE CABLE FOR THE TAILCONE WAS WORN OUT OF ALLOWABLE LIMITS. THE CABLE WAS REPLACED AND THE SYSTEM WAS RIGGED TO SPECIFICATIONS. THE FUNCTIONAL CHECK WAS COMPLETED SATISFACTORILY.
FUSELAGE SKIN AT BS 229-258, AFT OF L-1 DOOR, LONGERONS 15-17L. REPAIR DOUBLER GOUGED, DENTED, AND HAS PREVIOUS BLENDS IN AREAS. REMOVED INCOMING DAMAGED REPAIR DOUBLER & REPAIR PARTS IAW SRM 51-30-2 PG 27. NO CRACKS DETECTED ON EXISTING TRIM OUT ON SKIN. REPLACED DOUBLER & REPAIR PARTS IAW SRM 53-04-5 FIG 2.
DURING LINE CHECK, MAINTENANCE FOUND THAT THE EMERGENCY LIGHTING AT SEATS 12ABC AND 12ED WERE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE BATTERIES. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
DURING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, THE AFT CABIN DOOR EXIT PATH WAS PARTIALLY BLOCKED BECAUSE THE AFT F/A SEAT DID NOT RETRACT FULLY. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE RT SEAT BELT RETRACTOR RUBBING AND REPOSITIONED THE BELT CORRECTLY. OPERATION THEN CHECKED NORMALLY AND THE SEAT FULLY RETRACTED.
F/A REPORTED AN ELECTRICAL SMOKE ODOR EMANATING FROM BOTH OF AFT LAVATORIES. FLIGHT CREW SECURED CIRCUIT BREAKERS FOR LAVATORY LIGHTING, LAVATORY FLUSH MOTORS, AND LAVATORY WATER HEATERS. ODOR DISSIPATED, MAINTENANCE FOUND A BLOWN DUCT FOR RT SIDE AIR CYCLE MACHINE. FLEXIBLE DUCT RECONNECTED AND HANGER SUPPORT CLAMP FOR IT WAS SECURED. ACFT HAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
DURING LINE CHECK IN TPA, THE CABIN OVERHEAD EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS ON RT SIDE WERE FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE FROM ROWS 16 THRU 36. REPLACED BATTERIES IN POWER SUPPLIES IAW AMM 33-53 AND OPERATION IS NOW NORMAL.
SEAT 16 AND 17 EMERGENCY LIGHTS DAMAGED. REPLACED EMERGENCY PATH LIGHT ASSY AT ROW 16 AND 17 IAW CHAPTER 20. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
DURING LINE CHECK, MX FOUND THAT THE OVERHEAD EMERGENCY PATHWAY LIGHTING AT THE COCKPIT DOOR AND AT DOORS L1 & L2 WERE INOPERATIVE. MX REPLACED THE BATTERIES IN THE POWER SUPPLY AND THE LIGHTS RETURNED TO AN OPERATIONAL CONDITION.
FLIGHT DIVERTED, AFTER THE CABIN CREW REPORTED AN INTERMITTENT BURNING ODOR. MX COULD NOT FIND ANY POSITIVE SOURCE FOR THE ODOR. THE RT ACM WAS REPLACED DUE TO SUSPECTED OVERTEMP. A DUCT BURNOUT WAS ACCOMPLISHED AND THE ACFT HAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
DURING MX, A WIRE WAS FOUND BROKEN SUPPLYING POWER TO THE LT VENTRAL STAIR EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT. THE EMERGENCY LIGHT WIRING WAS REPAIRED IAW WIRING MANUAL REF 20-50.
HORIZ STAB UPPER CENTER SKIN PANEL REPAIRED IAW 09-484168-12.
WHILE IN CRUISE AT FL350, THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT REPORTED A "BURNING SMELL" NEAR SEAT ROW 27. THE UPPER & LOWER SIDEWALL CABIN LIGHTS WERE TURNED-OFF AND THE GALLEY POWER WAS SECURED. FURTHER REPORTS WERE THAT THE SMELL HAD DISSIPATED BY DESCENT TIME. LANDING AT BUF WAS UNEVENTFUL.

UPON LEVELING AT FL 330, SMELLED SMOKE, SIMILAR TO FOOD BURNING IN OVEN. OVENS HAD BEEN TURNED ON DURING CLIMB-OUT. FWD AND AFT LAV SMOKE ALARMS WENT OFF. TURNED OVENS OFF AND SMOKE DISSAPATED, ALARMS SILENCED. REPOSITIONED LOOSE SEAL ON AFT GALLEY OVEN DOOR AND REMOVED SOILED FOOD CARRIER FROM SAME OVEN.
ON T/O, COULD NOT RAISE THE NOSE GEAR HAD A RED LIGHT UNSAFE ON NOSE GEAR ONLY. FOUND LEFT HAND NOSE SPRAY DEFLECTOR BROKEN. REPLACED SAME, RAN NOSE GEAR, CHECKS GOOD.
