PHX - THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED. CABIN DOOR HOLD-OPEN LATCH RELEASE LOCKS NORMALLY, BUT MAINTENANCE REPORTS DOOR CAN BE CLOSED WITH LITTLE EFFORT. FWD ENTRY DOOR GUST LOCK RELEASE IS BROKEN. MAINTENANCE FOUND L1 DOOR GUIDE ARM HOLD OPEN MECHANISM SPRING OUT OF POSITION. POSITIONED SPRING OVER CAM IAW AMM 52-11-21. OPS CHECK GOOD.
WHEN CENTERLINE WAS EXTENDED ON APU, THE RIGHT SOURCE OFF LIGHT ILLUMINATED. FOLLOWED QRH PROCEDURES. UNABLE TO GET APU GENERATOR TO POWER RIGHT SIDE. IAW AMM 24-21-00-501, 700-803 AND 700-802 VERIFIED POWER TRANSFERS SYSTEMS TO BE WORKING, BETWEEN NR 1 IDG AND APU. NR 2 IDG IS INOPERATIVE. VERIFIED OIL LEVELS IN THE NR 1 IDG AND APU. RAN TESTS ON POWER BUS TRANSFER PER AMM 22-11-00, ON BPCU IAW AMM 24-21-21, ON APU GCU IAW AMM 24-21-81 AND DFCS SYSTEM TEST IAW AMM 21-11-00. THE AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED.
SMOKE WITH ACID BURNING OIL ODOR DETECTED BY ALL CREW MEMBERS AT 350. THE EMERGENCY CHECK LIST WAS ACCOMPLISHED. EMERGENCY DECLARED AND DIVERTED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. FUMES DISSIPATED TO TRACE RESIDUAL LEVELS. MAINTENANCE ACCOMPLISHED WORKCARD 05-96-70 AND TROUBLESHOT CABIN ODOR WITH NO FINDINGS. MAINTENANCE ALSO ACCOMPLISHED PACK BURN IAW AMM 21-00-01, AND ENGINE CHECK RUNS IAW AMM 71-00-00. NO ODORS NOTED.
CLOSEOUT AT SEAT 15F EMERGENCY EXIT DAMAGED. REMOVED AND REPLACED CLOSEOUT AT SEAT 15F EMERGENCY EXIT IAW ESO 90861 PAG 10123 OK FOR SVC. THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED.
