ENROUTE BACK TO BASE AFTER A TRANSPORT, THE CREW SMELLED A BURNING ELECTRICAL SMELL. SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT EP WAS FOLLOWED AND IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE SMELL WENT AWAY WHEN THE ECS WAS TURNED OFF. IAW THE EP, WE LEFT THE ECS OFF AND CONTINUED TO BASE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

ON PICKUP I NOTICED THE FLI WAS HIGHER THAN NORMAL, I CAN USUALLY LIFTOFF AT 7/7.5 ON THE FLI AT MGW BUT THIS TIME I WAS 100LBS UNDER MGW AND IT DIDNT LIFT OFF UNTIL OVER 8 ON THE FLI. ON CLIMB-OUT IT FELT SLUGGISH SO I CHECKED MY NUMBERS. I WAS AROUND 98 N1/NG AND MY TQ SEEMED LOWER THAN USUAL AT THE HIGH LOWS I SAW OF 63% AND 52 % RESPECTIVELY. COMPLETED COMP WASH, CLEANED BLEED VALVE FILTER AND VISUALLY INSPECTED ENGINE, IAW SAFFRAN 75-00, NO DISCREPANCY NOTED OPS CHECKS GOOD

FOUND CRACK IN RIGHT WIND SCREEN UPON WALK AROUND AT PWA. MAINTENANCE WAS ON SIGHT AND DISPATCH WAS NOTIFIED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WOULD BE OUT OF SERVICE WHILE THE WIND SCREEN WAS REPLACED. WINDSHIELD CRACKED 12 INCHES FROM THE RIGHT SIDE TO THE CENTER OF THE RT WINDSHIELD, OUTSIDE AIR TEMP WAS 9 DEGREES F, THIS WAS AN ORIGINAL WINDSHIELD AND WAS 4.5 YEARS OLD. CRACK ORIGINATED AROUND A SPACER THAT STANDS OFF THE TRIM STRIP.
