DURING LINE CHECK, MAINTENANCE FOUND THAT THE EMERGENCY EXIT SIGN, THE AISLE EMERGENCY LIGHTS, THE FORWARD LAVATORY, AND THE SERVICE DOOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS WERE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE BATTERY PACK AND POWER SUPPLY FOR THE NOTED LIGHTED AREAS AND THE OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS GOOD.
DURING LINE CHECK, MAINTENANCE FOUND THAT THE OVERHEAD EMERGENCY LIGHTS AT PANELS 3 & 4 IN THE CABIN WERE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE FOUND A FAILED WIRE CONNECTOR AT PANEL 4 AND REPLACED IT. THEY FOUND AN INCORRECT BULB AT PANEL 3 WHICH CAUSED THE FUSE TO BLOW. THE BULB AND POWER SUPPLY WERE REPLACED AND THE OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS GOOD. (LP #9364166)

DURING LINE CHECK, MAINTENANCE FOUND THAT SEVERAL OVERHEAD EMERGENCY PATHWAY LIGHTING IN THE CABIN WERE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE POWER SUPPLY AND BATTERY PACK 3D AND THE LIGHTS RETURNED TO AN OPERATIONAL CONDITION.
DURING LINE CHECK, MAINTENANCE FOUND THAT THE EMERGENCY PATHWAY LIGHTS IN ROWS 3-14 OF THE CABIN WERE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE BATTERY PACKS FOR THE NOTED LIGHTED AREAS AND THE OPS CHECK WAS GOOD.
DURING LINE CHECK, MAINTENANCE FOUND THAT THE MAIN CABIN DOOR EMERGENCY EXIT SIGN WAS INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE BATTERY PACKS FOR THE NOTED LIGHTED AREAS AND THE OPS CHECKED GOOD.

NOSE GEAR WOULD NOT FULLY RETRACT. FOUND THE NOSE GEAR SPRAY DEFLECTOR DAMAGED, CAUSED BY ARRESTOR CABLE ON RUNWAY. REMOVED AND REPLACED SPRAY DEFLECTOR, PERFORMED VISUAL INSPECTION OF NOSE GEAR AREA AND EXTENTION AND RETRACTION TEST IAW 717 MM 32-30.
FOUND NR 2 ENGINE FLAMED OUT AT CRUISE, 33,000 FT. ATTEMPTED TWO STARTS, ENGINE WOULD NOT RESTART. REMOVED AND REPLACED FMU IAW B717 MM 73-21-03, AND TEST 2A 71-00-11.
