DURING AN INSPECTION, MX DISCOVERED THAT THE TAILCONE CATWALK OVER THE VENTRAL STAIRWAY WAS DAMAGED AND JAMMING. THE MOVEABLE CEILING (CATWALK) WAS REPAIRED, ADJUSTED, AND RIGGED. IT NO LONGER BINDS DURING OPERATION AND MEETS PUBLISHED SPECIFICATIONS.
THE REAR STAIRWAY HAD BEEN EXTENDED AT SOME POINT WHEN THE ACFT WAS PARKED. WHEN THE STAIRS WERE RETRACTED THE CATWALK REMAINED STUCK IN THE UP POSITION BLOCKING THE EMERGENCY PATH, AND WAS LATER JOLTED OUT OF THAT STUCK POSITION DURING TAXI FOR TAKEOFF. MX SEQUENCED THE STAIRS CORRECTLY AND THE PROBLEM DID NOT REPEAT.

AFTER TAKEOFF, HEARD LOUD NOISE AND VIBRATION FROM NOSE GEAR AREA AFTER GEAR RETRACTION. RETURNED TPA, FOUND RT NOSE GEAR DOOR OPEN. REPLACED RIGHT DOOR LINK DUE TO NOT LOCKING.
