Probable cause
THE PILOT SELECTED UNSUITABLE TERRAIN FOR TAKEOFF AND FAILED TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT. A FACTOR IN THE ACCIDENT WAS THE STANDING WATER ON THE RUNWAY.
