FOUND CORROSION. PERFORMED A STRINGER REPAIR AT BUTT LINE 0.00, FUSELAGE FLIGHT STATION 320-333 FOR A FLANGE BELOW .063 LIMIT. THIS REPAIR WAS MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CESSNA'S 550 STRUCTURAL REPAIR MANUAL 53-12-04. THE "BEFORE" ULTRASONIC INSPECTION OF THE DAMAGED PIECES WAS PERFORMED BY APPLIED TECHNICAL SERVICES. AFTER THE DAMAGED PIECES WERE CLEANED OF CORROSION, THE "AFTER" ULTRASONIC INSPECTION OF THE DAMAGED PIECES WAS PERFORMED BY APPLIED TECHNICAL SERVICES.
THE LOWER FORWARD RUDDER SKIN IS CRACKED 2.5 INCHES, THIS WAS FOUND DURING ROUTINE PHASE INSPECTIONS. THE RUDDER SKIN PART NUMBER IS 5533000-95. THIS IS THE THIRD CRACK FOUND IN THE SAME LOCATION ON THE SAME MODEL AIRPLANE THIS CALENDER YEAR.
DURING THROTTLE UP ON TAKEOFF, LT ENGINE DID NOT PRODUCE POWER BEYOND IDLE THRUST. ABORTED TAKEOFF QUICKLY AFTER BRAKE RELEASE THEN TAXIED CLEAR OF THE RUNWAY, SHUT THE ENGINE DOWN AND RESTARTED. AT THIS POINT, THE PROBLEM COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED AND NORMAL POWER RUNS WERE ACCOMPLISHED WITH NO FURTHER PROBLEMS. AFTER RETURNING TO HOME BASE WE HAD MAINTENANCE DO SOME FURTHER TESTING AND THE LT ENGINE IS RESPONDING A LITTLE SLOWER THAN NORMAL. WE HAVE GROUNDED THE AIRCRAFT AND ARE WAITING FOR TESTING TO BE ACCOMPLISHED ON THE FUEL CONTROL UNIT. THE TESTS SHOULD BE FINISHED TODAY AND WE WILL MOVE FORWARD BASED ON THESE CONCLUSIONS. (K)
(REF NR SO13001) AT CRUISE ALTITUDE (34,000 FT) THE FLIGHT CREW HEARD A LOUD RUSHING AIR NOISE FOLLOWED IMMEDIATELY BY AN OBSERVED RAPID CLIMB IN CABIN PRESSURE. OXYGEN MASKS WERE DONNED BY FLIGHT CREW AND PASSENGER MASKS WERE DROPPED FLIGHT CREW FOLLOWED EMERGENCY PROCEDURES FOR (SUDDEN LOSS OF PRESSURIZATION) AND CONDUCTED AN EMERGENCY DESCENDED TO 10,000 MSL. AIRCRAFT LANDED AT DESTINATION AIRPORT WITH NO INJURIES TO PASSENGERS OR DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT. EXAMINATION OF AIRCRAFT INDICATED THAT THE CABIN DOOR SEAL AIR SUPPLY LINE WAS BLOCKED BY FOD. SUPPLY LINE CLEANED AND DOOR SEAL OPERATED NORMAL. (K)
