ENGINE EXHIBITED AN OIL LEAK WHICH WAS SUBSEQUENTLY TRACED TO A CRACK IN ENGINE GEARBOX HOUSING. ENG OEM DIRECTED TROUBLESHOOTING INCLUDING A VIBRATION SURVEY GROUND-RUN, REVEALED ENG VIBRATION LEVELS BEYOND LIMITS IAW ICA. ENGINE OEM. BORESCOPE INSPECTION OF ENG COMPRESSOR SECTION, REVEALED DAMAGE TO THE HPC BLADES & 1 LIBERATED 3RD-STAGE INTERMEDIATE IPC ROTOR BLADE. DISASSEMBLY OF ENGINEâS COMPRESSOR SECTION CONFIRMED 1 LIBERATED 3RD-STAGE IPC BLADE. IPC ROTOR IS A THREE-STAGE AXIAL COMPRESSOR. FURTHER DISASSEMBLY OF THE ENGINE REVEALED DOWNSTREAM SECONDARY DAMAGE TO HPC BLADES & OTHER ENG COMPONENTS.
HAD 3 TCAS PROCESSORS FAIL WITHIN A YEAR AND 4 MONTHS. THEY KEEP SHOWING TCAS FAIL ON THE PILOTS PFD. MANUFACTURER COULD NOT GET THE UNIT TO FAIL.
DUAL AHRS FAILURE DURING CRUISE. MADE AN EMERGENCY DESCENT. AFTER TESTING, FOUND NO PROBLEM WITH AHRS BOXES. ON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, ORIGINAL SCREWS THAT HOLD THE INSPECTION PANEL TO THE FLUX VALVES BECAME MAGNETIZED. MFG RECOMMENDED INSTALLING NEW SCREWS. PERFORMED LEAKS TESTS ON THE AIR DATA SYSTEM. NO DEFECTS WERE FOUND AFTER THE TEST FLIGHT.
THE MALFUNCTION OF THE BEACON ASSY IS THAT IT KEEPS BURNING OUT THE LAMPS, SOMETIMES 2 TO 3 TIMES A MONTH. PROBABLE IS VIBRATION INTHE TAIL CAUSING ELEMENT TO BURN OUT. RECOMMENDATION TO INSTALL LED LIGHTING FOR TAIL BEACON ASSY
NOSE LANDING GEAR TORQUE LINKS CONNECTED BY QUICK RELEASE PIN. QUICK RELEASE PIN FELL APART WHILE TAXIING ON ACTIVE TAXI WAY DISCONNECTING NOSE WHEEL STEARING. AIRCRAFT TOWED FROM TAXI WAY. NO DAMAGE NOTED. (K)
