OPERATOR REPORTED THAT WHILE PERFORMING MX ON THE AIR CONDITIONING SYS 1 OF THE NLG UPPER ATTACH BOLTS WAS FOUND TO BE SHEARED. BOTH LT AND RT BOLTS WERE REPLACED WITH NEW BOLTS.
AUGUST 22, 2003 ENGINE LOST OIL PRESSURE INFLIGHT, PILOT COMMANDED SHUTDOWN, AIRCRAFT LANDED. SUBSEQUENT TEARDOWN OF GEARBOX REVEALED CRACKED OIL PUMP HOUSING. PUMP HOUSINGS ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH DESIGN OR ALLOY.
INTERNAL RELAYS FAILED TO CONTACT WHEN GEAR SELECTED DOWN. REPLACED UNIT, SYSTEM WORKED NORMAL. NO RECOMMENDATION.
