Maintenance disclosure history
Service Difficulty Reports are self-reported maintenance findings. The NUMBER of reports is not a measure of reliability — diligent operators file more, not fewer. These are shown for transparency, not as a negative signal. To verify a report, search its control number at the FAA SDRS site.
Reports span 2002–2002. Most-reported systems: Fire protection (26) — 1. Most-common natures of condition, as filed: FALSE WARNING — 1.
1 report on file.
Part: COMPUTER — INTERMITTENT (E/E BAY)
AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED RIGHT ENGINE FIRE WARNING SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF. CREW FOLLOWED CHECKLIST, DECLARED AN IFE, AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. AFTER HOURS OF TROUBLESHOOTING, MAINTENANCE DETERMINED THEY COULD TURN ON AND OFF THE RIGHT ENGINE FIRE LIGHT BY LIGHTLY TAPPING ON WARNING LIGHT COMPUTER. PART WAS REMOVED AND SHOWED NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE AND/OR MOISTURE. REPLACEMENT PART WAS INSTALLED ON AIRCRAFT THE SAME DAY, AND PROBLEM WAS FIXED.
