DURING CLIMB PASSING FL 355 THE "CABIN ALTITUDE" LIGHT CAME ON WITH DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE INDICATOR SHOWING ZERO. CABIN DID NOT LOSE PRESSURIZATION; HOWEVER THE CREW FOLLOWED THE CHECKLIST DECLARED EMERGENCY, DESCENDED TO LOWER ALTITUDE AND RETURNED TO THE DEPARTURE AIRPORT. UPON GROUND TEST NO ISSUES WERE FOUND WITH THE PRESSURIZATION INDICATION SYSTEM.
ATC REPORTED THAT THE AIRCRAFT HAD LOST A TIRE DURING TAXI. CREW REDUCED THE FUEL LOAD BY GOING INTO A HOLDING PATTERN AND RETURNED TO AIRPORT. THEY DID A FLY BY TO CONFIRM AND LANDED THE AIRCRAFT WITHOUT ANY ISSUES. UPON CLOSER INSPECTION MAINTENANCE FOUND A NR 3 WHEEL HAD CRACKED AROUND THE INBOARD LIP OF THE RIM WHICH CAUSED THE TIRE TO DEPART THE RIM.
UPON LANDING THE AIRCRAFT STEERED TO THE RIGHT AS SOON AS THE NOSE WHEEL TOUCHED THE GROUND. CREW REPORTED THAT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO USE THE TILLER TO CONTROL THE AIRCRAFT DIRECTION. CREW REPORTED THE TILLER WAS VERY STIFF. AT THIS TIME IT'S DIFFICULT TO DETERMINE THE EXACT CAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT.
APU WARNING ANNUNCIATOR PANEL ILLUMINATED AFTER TAKE-OFF. (APU WAS OFF AT THIS TIME) CREW FOLLOWED EMERGENCY CHECK LIST AND DISCHARGED THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND RETURNED TO FIELD. UPON INSPECTION BY MECHANICS, FOUND NO SIGNS OF ACTUAL FIRE, IT APPEARED TO BE INDICATION ONLY. MAINTENANCE REPLACED FIRE EXTINGUISHER BOTTLE AND CARTRIDGE WITH SERVICEABLE UNITS. GROUND OPS CHECK OF FIRE WARNING SYSTEM SATISFACTORY. GROUND CREW OPERATED THE APU FOR 30 MINUTES AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM WITH THE APU ON OR OFF.
DURING SCHEDULED WING VISUAL INSPECTION PEELING PAINT AND CORROSION WHITE POWDER WAS SEEN AT THE MATING AREA OF THE OUTBOARD LT WING TRAILING EDGE BOX WHERE THE BOX ATTACHES TO THE WING. THIS AREA IS JUST OUTBOARD OF THE LEFT AILERON. HALFWAY OUTBOARD ON THE TOP SURFACE OF THE WING IS WHERE PEELING PAINT AND WHITE POWDER WAS DISCOVERED WHERE SEALANT IS APPLIED BETWEEN WING AND TRAILING EDGE MATING SURFACE.
FLIGHT CREW NOTICED SMOKE IN THE CABIN AFTER TAKE-OFF FROM AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE AIRPORT WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. INITIAL TROUBLESHOOTING INDICATED EXCESSIVE OIL PRESENCE AT NR 2 BEARING ON THE RIGHT ENGINE. DEFECT WITH NR 2 BEARING CONFIRMED REMOVED ENGINE, WILL INSTALL ANOTHER ENGINE WITH TSOH.
