IT WAS REPORTED THAT THE ACFT MADE AN UNSCHEDULED LANDING AND A PILOT COMMANDED SHUTDOWN NR 1 ENGINE DUE TO LOW OR LOSS OF OIL PRESSURE INDICATION.

DURING TAXI FOR DEPARTURE, PILOT NOTICED REDUCED BRAKING ABILITY OF THE AC. UPON RETURNING TO THE TERMINAL IT WAS NOTICED THAT A LARGE AMOUNT OF HYDR FLUID WAS COMING FROM LT WHEEL WELL FURTHER INVESTIGATION BY MFG REVEALED A RUPTURE IN A SPOILER RETRACT LINE. MFG HAS BEEN CONTACTED FOR REPAIR AND RETURN TO SERVICE OF THE AC. (K)

AT 200 FT ON NOV 13, 2007, AC DEPARTED, DURING FLIGHT, A FIRE WARNING INDICATION LIGHT FROM THE NR 2 ENGINE CAME ON. THE AC RETURNED TO DEPARTURE AND IS CURRENTLY IN MAINTENANCE. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL INFORMS THAT THERE IS NO INDICATION THAT A FIRE OCCURRED AND A FAULTY FIRE DETECTION LOOP IS SUSPECTED. (K)
