Maintenance disclosure history

Service Difficulty Reports are self-reported maintenance findings. The NUMBER of reports is not a measure of reliability — diligent operators file more, not fewer. These are shown for transparency, not as a negative signal. To verify a report, search its control number at the FAA SDRS site.

Reports span 2014–2026. Most-reported systems: Air conditioning & press. (21) — 1; Doors (52) — 1. Most-common natures of condition, as filed: VIBRATION/BUFFET — 1; WARNING INDICATION — 1.

Part: CABIN PRESS SYS — WARNING MESSAGE (ZONE 100) · airframe 5,256 hrs · 4,456 cycles

AT 2252Z, SIS61 ON DEPARTURE FROM RUNWAY 33 AT ASE DECLARED AN EMERGENCY DUE TO A LOSS OF CABIN PRESSURE AND INFORMED THE RADAR CONTROLLER THEY WERE DESCENDING BACK TO 100 AND NEEDED TO DIVERT TO RIL. THEY DESCENDED FROM 121 TO 100 IN AN 115 MVA AND REQUESTED RADAR VECTORS. THE RADAR CONTROLLER, USING THE EMERGENCY TERRAIN MAP GAVE VECTORS TOWARDS LOWER TERRAIN AND CLEARED SIS61 TO RIL. WHEN THE AIRCRAFT WAS 25 MILES E OF RIL, THE PILOT REPORTED THEY THOUGHT THEY HAD FIXED THE ISSUE AND WANTED TO CLIMB TO TEST THE CABIN PRESSURE. THEY WERE ISSUED A CLIMB ABOVE THE MVA, REPORTED THEY WERE NO LONGER AND EMERGENCY AND ASKED TO CONTINUE TO THEIR ORIGINAL DESTINATION OF RNO. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO RNO WITHOUT INCIDENT. LOWEST OBSERVED ALTITUDE WAS 111 IN A 124 MVA AND 100 IN AN 115 MVA, PILOT REPORTED THEY HAD ALL TERRAIN IN SIGHT. THERE WERE 4 SOB AND 4 HOURS OF FUEL. SDR IS SUBMITTED LATE DUE TO NOT RECEIVING COMPLETE INFORMATION FROM THE CREW.
