Maintenance disclosure history
Service Difficulty Reports are self-reported maintenance findings. The NUMBER of reports is not a measure of reliability — diligent operators file more, not fewer. These are shown for transparency, not as a negative signal. To verify a report, search its control number at the FAA SDRS site.
Reports span 2003–2013. Most-reported systems: Landing gear (32) — 1; Wings (57) — 1; Engine (72) — 1. Most-common natures of condition, as filed: OTHER — 3.
3 reports on file.
Part: ARM — DETACHED (COCKPIT) · airframe 5,916 hrs · 3,732 cycles
LANDING GEAR, GEAR ACTUATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY FAILURE. PILOT EXTENDED GEAR MANUALLY PER CHECK LIST AND LANDED NORMALLY.
Part: BOLT — CRACKED (RT WING) · airframe 10,223 hrs · 8,789 cycles
POSSIBLE CRACK IN AFT WING BOLTS UPPER (POSSIBLY WAS CAD PLATING ON BOLTS) SHOWING IN THREADS OF BOLTS.
Part: ENGINE — FLAMED OUT (RIGHT)
DURING AN APPROACH TO LAND AT 5000 FT AGL, THE THROTTLES WERE RETARDED TO IDLE AND THE NR 2 ENGINE FLAMED OUT. A SINGLE ENGINE LANDING WAS PERFORMED WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT HAD RECENTLY BEEN THROUGH AN ENGINE CHANGE AFTER AN OVERHAUL. AFTER THE WORK WAS PERFORMED, IT WAS NOTICED THAT THE RIGHT THROTTLE WAS CREW AND PASSENGERS WERE DISEMBARKED FROM THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT AND CO-PILOT CONSULTED WITH GROUND MAINTENANCE. A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE ENGINE AND ENGINE RUN REVEALED NO DISCREPANCIES. THE AIRCRAFT ENGINE CONTROLS WERE RE-RIGGED AND THE ENGINE WAS TEST RUN ONCE AGAIN TO VERIFY PROPER RIGGING.
