APU FEEDER CABLE SPLICE WHERE THE OVERHEATING IS FOUND IS LOCATED BETWEEN FRAMES 66 & 67 UNDER CARGO FLOOR PANEL 271BF.
DURING APPROACH, PILOT SELECTED GEAR DOWN AND DIDN'T RECEIVE A LT MAIN GEAR DOWN INDICATION. IAW CHECKLIST THE PILOT THEN BLEW THE GEAR DOWN AND DIVERTED AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. FOUND THE INDICATOR LIGHT INOPERATIVE. REMOVED AND REPLACED LAMPS.
DURING TAKEOFF, CREW NOTICED RISE IN BATTERY NR 2 TEMPERATURE, FOLLOWED CHECKLIST ISOLATING NR 2 BATTERY. CREW CONTINUED WITH TAKEOFF WITHOUT INCIDENT. BATTERY TEMPERATURE CONTINUED TO RISE, CREW MADE THE DECISION TO RETURN TO DEPARTURE, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY SITUATION. ONCE ON THE GROUND FIRE PERSONNEL TEMPERATURE CHECKED THE BATTERY AT 77F. AT THIS TIME IT WAS NOTED AS A FAILURE OF THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR IN THE BATTERY CASE.
PRIOR TO FLIGHT, THE PRESSURIZATION CONTROLLER HAD BEEN CHANGED DUE TO FAILURE AND A REPAIRED UNIT INSTALLED IAW MM, 21-30-03. ALL OPS CHECKS PERFORMED WITH NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. PREPARED FOR DEPARTURE WITH NO DISCREPANCIES. 30 MINUTES INTO FLIGHT, NOTICED CABIN ALTITUDE RISE AND STARTED AN IMMEDIATE DESCENT. AT APPROXIMATELY FL240 THE PRESSURIZATION CONTROLLER BEGAN TO WORK AND HOLD CABIN ALTITUDE. THE DECISION WAS MADE TO LAND.
ONE HOUR INTO A FLIGHT, ENROUTE, RIGHT ENGINE N2 INDICATION ROLLED BACK 10 PERCENT. CREW FOLLOWED COCKPIT PROCEDURES AND DESCENDED TO FL15. LANDED ACFT UNEVENTFULLY.
DURING DESCENT INTO DESTINATION AIRPORT, CREW NOTICED A SIGNIFICANT DROP IN NR 2 ENGINE OIL PRESSURE AND THE RT OIL PRESS LIGHT ILLUMINATED. AS A PRECAUTION, ELECTED TO SHUTDOWN RT ENGINE. DIVERTED. NO EMERGENCY DECLARED.
