DURING TAKEOFF, A KEY LEFT IN THE CREW DOOR DEPARTED THE LOCK AND WENT INTO THE LEFT ENGINE, CAUSING A LOUD NOISE WHICH ALERTED THE CREW TO AN ENGINE PROBLEM. THE PIC REDUCED POWER WHICH CAUSED THE ENGINE NOISE TO BE GREATLY REDUCED. THE CREW ELECTED TO RETURN VFR TO THE FIELD WITH THE GEAR AND FLAPS DOWN AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. TEXTRON-GSO WAS CALLED TO EVALUATE THE LH ENGINE DAMAGE.
DURING INSPECTION, DISCOVERED TAIL CONE STROBE WIRING HARNESS ASSY SHORTING INSIDE CONNECTOR PLUG CAUSING ALL STROBES TO BE INOPERATIVE. DEACTIVATED TAIL CONE STROBE LIGHT ASSY AND ORDERED REPLACEMENT LIGHT ASSY AND DEFERRED IAW MEL.
LANDING GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND DUE TO INTERNAL FAILURE OF ELECTRIC GEAR MOTOR. REPLACED MOTOR AND SYSTEM OPS CHECKS GOOD. ALTERNATOR OUT LIGHT PROVED TO BE BROKEN WIRE ON IN-LINE FUSE FOR INDICATOR. REPAIRED WIRE AND OPS CHECKS OK. ALSO REPLACED ONE ACFT BATTERY WITH NEW. RUN-UP FOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OPS CHECKS GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
MAINTENANCE REPLACED RT BLEED AIR TUBE ASSY (P/N 101469-002) DUE TO TIME CHANGE. THE ASSY WAS INSPECTED FOR CONDITION AND RECEIVING DOCUMENTS FOR TRACEABILITY OF THE PART. NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED DURING RECEIVING INSPECTION. GROUND RUNUP OK AFTER REPLACEMENT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE. ACFT PREPOSITIONED TO KINT FOR PASSENGER PICK-UP. UPON DEPARTURE AND CLIMBOUT, PILOT NOTICED ODOR AND SMOKE IN COCKPIT. AFTER LANDING, MAINTENANCE INSPECTED BLEED AIR SYSTEM. THE TUBE ASSY PREVIOUSLY REPLACED (P/N 101469-002), WAS REMOVED FOR INSPECTION. THE TUBE ASSY WAS CLEAR EXCEPT FOR SOME TYPE OF CONTAMINATION WHICH WAS FOUND IN THE FOLDS OF THE FLEXIBLE PORTION OF THE TUBE ASSY. THE UNIT WAS SUBSEQUENTLY CLEANED, DRIED, AND REINSTALLED. GROUND RUN-UP PROVED SATISFACTORY. MAINTENANCE CHECK FLIGHT WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITH NO DEFECTS. AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
AFTER LANDING AT HOME BASE, NOTICED HYDRAULIC FLUID ON GROUND UNDER NOSE WHEEL AREA. DISCOVERED NLG SEQUENCE VALVE LEAKING. PART REPLACED BY MAINTENANCE.
PILOT WAS IN CRUISE FLIGHT. HEARD POP AND NOTICED RT ENGINE WAS WINDMILLING. FEATHERED PROPELLER. ATTEMPTED RESTART BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. LANDED AT ALTERNATE FIELD. ON GROUND, DISCOVERED RT ENGINE PROPELLER WOULD NOT TURN - SEIZED.
PILOT REPORTED ABNORMAL OIL LOSS FOR RIGHT ENGINE. ALSO, OIL TRAIL ON LOWER RT WING. UPON INSPECTION, FOUND NR 6 CYLINDER FORWARD PUSH ROD HOUSING CRACKED, ALLOWING OIL TO DRAIN INTO LOWER COWL. REPLACED PART.

DURING GROUND RUN, DISCOVERED RIGHT ENGINE OIL TEMP WOULD NOT REACH GREEN RANGE. REPLACED OIL TEMP SENDER AND SYSTEM OPS CK OK. OIL TEMP SENDER BULB ALLOWED OIL TO LEAK INTO ELECTRICAL CONNECTION CAVITY, THUS SHORTING THE CONNECTION.
IN FLIGHT, NOTICED RIGHT PNEUMATIC PRESSURE PUMP INOP FLAGGED. CONTINUED FLIGHT ON LEFT PUMP SYSTEM. SENT ACFT TO MAINTENANCE. REPLACED PUMP WITH OVERHAULED PART. REPLACED RIGHT INSTRUMENT FILTER. OPS CK OK.
