ON A LEG, ENROUTE, AT CRUISE ALTITUDE OF FL250, THE INNER PANE OF THE RT WINDSCREEN SHATTERED, THE CREW THEN LANDED AT THE NEAREST SUITABLE AIRPORT (ERI), WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED BACK, WHERE THE WINDSCREEN WAS REPLACED WITH P/N 101-384025-24.
ON A LEG, AT CRUISE ALTITUDE OF FL250, THE INNER PANE OF THE RT WINDSCREEN SHATTERED, THE CREW THEN LANDED AT THE NEAREST SUITABLE AIRPORT (ERI), WITHOUT FURTHER INCEDENT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED BACK TO DEPARTURE WERE THE WINDSCREEN WAS REPLACED WITH P/N 101-384025-24.
AT 27,000 FT THE PILOT SIDE WINDSHIELD SHATTERED. THE PILOTS VIEW WAS TOTALLY OBSTRUCTED. THE COPILOT WAS ABLE TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT SAFELY. AFTER REMOVAL, THE OUTSIDE PANEL WAS NOT DAMAGED. THE INSIDE PANEL WAS STILL IN TACT BUT COMPLETELY SHATTERED. THE LARGEST PIECE WAS ONLY .5 INCH IN DIAMETER. AFTER TALKING TO MFG, IT WAS REVEALED THAT THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM AND AN NEW STYLE WINDSHIELD WAS BEING USED. (K)
DURING A RUDDER BOOST TEST THE RT RUDDER PEDAL, REMAINED AT FULL DEFLECTION EVEN WITH THE ENGINES AT IDLE. BY TURNING THE SYSTEM OFF BOTH PDEALS WOULD RETURN TO CENTER. IF THE SYSTEM FAILED ON FINAL AND OR DURING TAKE OFF THE END RESULT COULD BE DEVASTATING.
FOUND A 3.5 INCH CRACK APPROXIMATELY 6 INCHES DOWN AND .0200 INCH ON THE RIGHT SIDE TRAILING EDGE OF THE RUDDER.
CLIMBING THROUGH 13,000 FEET, LEFT GENERATOR FAILED, NO RESET CAPABILITY, AUTO-PILOT TRIPPED OFF, BOTH NR 1 AND NR 2 INVERTERS FAILED. BATTERY-ON HORN KEPT HONKING INTERMITTENTLY AT 2 TIMES PER SECOND RATE. ALL CO-PILOT FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS FLAGGED OFF. ALL PILOT FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS FLAGGED OFF, EXCEPT FOR PILOT''''S ADI HORIZON. AIRCRAFT LANDED AT PTK WITHOUT INCIDENT. CHANGED RIGHT BATTERY CONTACTOR, FIXED THE PROBLEM. (M)
HEAVILY CORRODED IN CYLINDER BORE. CORROSION FILLED IN WITH PUTTY. SUBMITTER STATED CAUSE AS DISSIMILAR METALS AND MOISTURE.
ENGINE WENT TO IDLE CUT OFF IN-FLIGHT. (FLAME OUT.) MAIN ENGINE PUMP SEIZED. ENGINE SHAFT BECAME WORN AND ROUNDED OFF SPLINES.
LEFT ENGINE ROLLED BACK TO IDLE CUT-OFF IN FLIGHT. (FLAME OUT.) MAIN ENGINE FUEL PUMP SEIZED CAUSING ROUNDING OFF OF SPLINE ON PUMP AND DRIVE COUPLING. SUBMITTER SUGGESTED TO INCREASE FREQUENCY OF INSPECTION FOR THIS COMPONENT.
