CREW EXPERIENCED A CABIN DUCT OVERHEAT WHILE EN ROUTE. PASSENGER COMPLAIN THAT THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS NOT FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY. PASSENGER STATED IT WAS HOT IN THE CABIN. CREW SWITCHED TO THE ECS PAGE AND NOTICED THE TEMPERATURE WAS 84 DEGREES AND RISING TO 102 DEGREES. CREW FOLLOWED THE QRH CHECKLIST FOR THE CABIN DUCT OVERHEAT. QRH HAD THE CREW PULL BOTH BLEED CIRCUIT BREAKERS CAUSING A LOSE IN CABIN PRESSURIZATION. CREW THEN DECLARED AN EMERGENCY TO EXPEDITED A LANDING. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. TROUBLESHOT THE SYSTEM AND FOUND THE CABIN TEMP CONTROL VALVE WAS STUCK IN THE OPEN POSITION.

CREW RETRACTED LANDING GEAR AND NOTED GEAR IN TRANSIT INDICATIONS ON ALL THREE OF THE GEAR. CYCLED LANDING GEAR AGAIN WITH NO CHANGE IN INDICATIONS. ALSO NOTED A SLIGHT VIBRATION FROM NOSE OF ACFT. DIVERTED. LANDING GEAR IN THE EXTENDED POSITION ALL INDICATION WERE NORMAL, THREE GREEN LIGHTS. NOTED AN UNCHARACTERISTIC YAW FORCE WITH THE GEAR DOWN. FLEW BY TOWER TO VERIFY THE ORIENTATION OF THE NOSE WHEEL. TOWER REPORTED NOSE TIRE WAS ABOUT 30 DEGREES OFF OF CENTER LINE. ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT BY ABRUPT CHANGES IN ACFT ATTITUDE. MANEUVERS HAD LITTLE EFFECT. AFTER BURNING EXCESS FUEL, LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. A BRIEF VISUAL INSPECTION REVEALED THE NOSE STRUT WAS LOW ON NITROGEN CHARGE, WHICH WOULD LEAD TO THE INCOMPLETE NOSE STRUT EXTENSION AND THE SUBSEQUENT MISALIGNMENT OF THE NOSE WHEEL.

DURING APPROACH THE PILOT PUSHED THE APPROACH KEY ON FMS AND THE COURSE INDICATOR CHANGED FROM PINK TO GREEN. ON PASSING THE FAF AND WITHOUT PILOT INPUT, AT ABOUT 2,400 FT MSL, THE INBOUND COURSE CHANGED FROM THE INBOUND COURSE IN ILS 12R TO THE INBOUND COURSE OF THE ILS 17R COURSE AT LAST AIRPORT. IMMEDIATELY, THE FLIGHT DIRECTOR INDICATED A TURN TO THE RT AND THE AUTO PILOT SYS TURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE RT. THE PILOTS WERE FORCED TO DISCONNECT THE AUTOPILOT. PILOTS WERE ABLE TO CONTINUE THE APPROACH VISUALLY AND MANUALLY.

HAVE HAD A SIMILAR DISCREPANCY IN OTHER ACFT. RECOMMEND MFG OR OPERATOR INVESTIGATE WHETHER CERTAIN OPERATING CONDITIONS RESULT IN INCREASED WATER PRESENCE IN DOOR SEAL, OR IF MORE FREQUENT DOOR SEAL MX MIGHT BE WARRANTED. TRANSIENT ACFT, MX HISTORY UNKNOWN.

LANDING GEAR FAILED TO RETRACT WHEN COMMANDED AFTER DEPARTURE. NO LANDING GEAR INTRANSIT INDICATION, HYD SYS PRESSURE NORMAL. FLIGHT CREW VERIFIED LANDING GEAR EMERGENCY EXTENSION HANDLE STOWED CORRECTLY AND RETURNED TO DEPARTURE. DURING TROUBLESHOOTING NOTED HIGH RESISTANCE THROUGH S93 NOSE GEAR WEIGHT SWITCH WIRING CONTACTS. REPLACED THE NOSE LANDING GEAR ELECTRICAL HARNESS ASSY WITH A REPAIRED HARNESS ASSY IAW THE MM 32-60-00. LANDING GEAR RETRACTION/EXTENSION SYS OPERATIONS FOUND NORMAL. RECOMMEND MFG FOLLOW-UP FOR EVALUATION IF THIS IS A FLEET-WIDE ISSUE.
